As a self-proclaimed soup girl, Soupy's was everything I could've ever asked for. Service? So fast. Menu? Simple with lots of options to mix n' match. Food? So, so good. It was drive through only when we visited, but the menu was easy to read and the ordering process was super smooth. Our food was ready quick, super hot, and was very neatly packaged. Absolutely hit the spot on a cold, gross day.

Usually love this place this was just a bad experience, my soup container had a hold puncture in it so I got soup ALL over my car and my pants and my purse and everything inside because it was leaking out the whole way home and then it all fell on my pants when I picked up my bag and noticed. Also my Reuben sandwich was basically all sour kraut and like no meat and it looked gross. Lost my appetite after all this

I hit up Soupy's for lunch the other day. I was surprised to find that their combos are no longer available to order. Everything is now a la cart, which I don't love. However, the potato soup, half sandwich, and half and half tea were all good and curbed the hangry vibe!

Chicken Salad Sandwich- I chose not to have it dressed so I could get a good idea on the flavor. It was great!

I've heard Soupy's is good so I gave it a try when I was in the area. I was not disappointed! The chili was some of the best I've ever had! It was quick, everyone was friendly and helpful too. I got half a chicken salad sandwich and it hit the spot for what I was craving! I recommend giving Soupy's a try! I was also happy to see they have a food truck as I plan a fall event!

This place is drive thru only but I believe they have a little patio they set up if you want to order & eat outside. They were very quick & really friendly at the window. When I ordered I asked for a half Turkey with lettuce, tomato, pickle & spicy mustard. They accidentally made another half & let me know they added it to the bag on the house. They even put a smiley face on the box so I thought that was really nice and generous of them. The Turkey was good quality & the toppings were really fresh. I could have ordered a side of pickles to eat by themselves. I got my grandparents a classic BLT & they said it was good. Only thing was the bread was kind of falling apart as you ate. But Overall I'll definitely go back.

Pulled in here to get some lunch while I was on break from work today. I have had this on my list for a couple years now to try. So I was in the area and I said hey, let's give it a shot. So I got the chili and half a sandwich for $8.75. I opened up my ham and cheese sandwich first I got it with pickles, lettuce hot pepper, jack cheese, ham, and pickles and mayonnaise on wheat bread and it was fantastic. Very tasty very crunchy well-made good job. And then I got the chili without noodles and a side of cheese and it was excited. Great taste good service people on the inside was super nice to the drive-through and great place overall and I definitely recommend it and I will be back.

As someone who isn't the biggest fan of soup, I have never tried this place despite it being rather close to me. My boyfriend, however, loves it and often raves about it. He told me he wanted it today and that they have sandwiches as well if I wanted to try it, so I figured, why not? I got a BLT and it tastes very similar to how one would taste made at home, but it was very good nonetheless! The service was very kind as well. As I said, my boyfriend raves about the soup and so does his whole family, so I don't doubt it's deliciousness! I would definitely go back and try some more things.

Soupy's is a hikes point community sandwich and soup shop in the city of Louisville Kentucky. After seeing this establishment for several years and curious what they have to offer I finally stopped in to check them out. We parked and I was walking towards the door and I can see a worker walk up to make sure the door was locked by aggressively yanking on. Kinda a rude way of informing someone it's drive thru only. However, I was here and didn't let that rudeness stop me from doing through the drive thru. We were the only ones there at the moment so we processed and got the order really quickly. I personally ordered whole ham sandwich and got a side of chili. My wife ordered a tuna salad sandwich with some chicken and dumplings. I will say they are fairly priced. Not too expensive by any means. We got our order and parked in the parking lot and ate in our cars. My wife chicken and dumplings was super watery. Said it had good flavor but way too much water. Her sandwich she said was just ok. Pretty standard run of the mill and she said "it's not like it's terrible but it's nothing I'll run back to try". My ham sandwich i felt the same way. Pretty standard. Not bad by any means. But it very much had the i stopped by the deli market and made a sack lunch sandwich for my kids school field trip vibe to it. The chili I enjoyed. Wasn't anything ground breaking but I do love the fact that they offer chili with or without noodles. Team noodles over here. For those who said if you add noodles it makes it spaghetti mu counter is always if you don't have noodles it's just tomato soup with meat. Overall this is a solid and cool little hikes point land marker. The food here to me was just ok. The service annoyed me slightly. The pricing and the fact that there chili has noodles in it is my two favorite things.

Called in to order two quarts of soup. One veggie beef and one chili. I also ordered a dozen for their corn muffins. They were ready to go when I arrived and I also ordered a small cup for veggie soup for myself. So much better than fast food options to take to a family event. Service was great and so was the food. This is a drive thru option only during summer you can eat outside. I just ate my little cup of soup in my car. I just put the corn muffin in my soup and made it a meal.

I had a half ruben sandwich and a bowl of white chili. Both were excellent. A huge half sandwich and a large hearty bowl of white chili. The chili was flavorful but not spicy. It had lots of shredded chicken, beans and corn (which could have been left out in my opinion). My friend had the chicken salad sandwich and the white chili and said her sandwich was good, also a very large. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, parking on the side and in the back of the building. The restaurant includes a long row of bar seating that extends to the other end of the restaurant, so there was no problem for me to find a seat on a busy day. I ordered the Mac n cheese and braised greens, and the Mac n cheese was really good and creamy. The braised greens were just okay, it wasn't the best greens I've had and it could use extra flavor. I don't know if this is a thing they do at Doc Crow's, but in my opinion the bartender excessively kept asking me what I wanted even while I was still looking at the menu. This definitely frustrated me since it was clear that I wasn't ready yet. I think she should have done a better job reading my cues to figure out when I am ready to order.

My top-tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality and I spent most of the afternoon on a bourbon tour and a post-tour distillery so...food was needed. And quickly. In our mild defense, we didn't really know how the day was going to go or when we were actually going to have dinner, which made it a little tougher to pre-plan, but no research went into this at all and we paid for it. We wrapped up our bourbon adventures at the Angel's Envy distillery probably five or six blocks from here. Instead of being grownups and doing at least a quick/impromptu recon for spots, we literally just walked outside and down W Main St until we hit something. And we hit this, which was right on the edge of the main tourist area, pretty much Louisville's equivalent of the Times Square/MSG area. And as someone who works and used to live in NYC, you'd have to do a lot of convincing to get me to eat in that particular area - it's overpriced and the food/service just tends to not be very good, which makes you wonder what the appeal is for tourists beyond the convenience. But regardless, it's always struck me as an odd way for a tourism spot to put its best foot forward (or not). Doc Crow's is enormous, and when we were brought further into the restaurant to our table, I think we literally walked through three or four large rooms and navigated through multiple passageways. If you told me this place took up an entire city block or close to it, I'd believe you. Beyond the size/scope, there's nothing really distinctive that separates it from the myriad of other restaurants you'd expect to see catering to out-of-towners. It was the Friday evening of Memorial Day Weekend, so a place that I suspect is usually pretty busy was even busier and louder than that. Maybe not the greatest recipe after a bourbon tour, but who can say. On the app front, we got the Crispy Salmon Bites, which were fine. Not an item I typically see on a menu, even one with more of a seafood bent. I thought the cornmeal/panko breading was the right call; I'm a big catfish aficionado, so I'm of the opinion that cornmeal is underutilized, at least in the Northeast where I come from. Otherwise, nothing really mind-blowing there; probably would have made sense for it to be a different type of fish given the prep (I think salmon is best raw in a sushi roll or grilled), but it could have been worse. I don't think a ton of thought went into this on my end, but I went with the full rack BBQ ribs, along with a side of mac n' cheese. Again, okay, though not as flavorful as I would have hoped and I thought the ribs were on the dry side. Not their fault, but I always regret getting the full rack in hindsight because ribs have a deceptively significant amount of meat on the bones and a half rack is a very decent portion by itself; I am a work in progress just like everyone else. The mac n' cheese was also pretty dry, which I think you can see pretty obviously in the accompanying picture. Tasted and felt reheated at least once or twice. The service was pretty efficient given how busy it was, but our waiter was just on robotic autopilot. Not remotely personable and everything I said to him was responded to with, "For sure, for sure." Maybe he was having a rough night to start the holiday weekend, but it felt like he was just going through the motions and just checking off some boxes there. I went into this already predisposed to not like the generic tourist trap places, so grain of salt. But my recommendation if you have the time/bandwidth (now that I'm a cagey Louisville vet) is to bypass this area if you can and find something tastier and more interesting in the Highlands neighborhood. That's where the real ones are.

I think my cocktail was called the Tokyo Pop? Not positive but you have to get it. Gin, bubbles, sake, and a hint of lemon in a flute glass. Refreshing, a hint of sweet, a hint of lemon, and extremely drinkable. It would be too easy to throw a ton of these back. But I was demure and had one. I enjoyed the calamari--my go-to here.
