They have wifi, bathrooms, and outdoor seating (not only in the front, but in the back of the building where there is shade). I have to admit that I didn't like the iced latte I tried, but I think that's just because I'm an American and still not used to the milk here. The cappuccino, however sat with me very well. It had a nice, subtle flavor with smooth texture that I'm sure to be ordering again. If you're looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to hang out then I'd definitely recommend Jeepney! P.S. I'm excited to try their breakfasts, which I have heard good things about

Best service with a smile every single time, and i thinkI'vee been there once a week for about 2 months or so. As a vegan, i dont really have too many options when it comes to desserts (and, sadly, no options when it comes to "real" food or breakfast during the weekend), and the desserts are always the same- a vegan brownie, carrot cake and a Philippian dessert which looks like a flat cake. Good size coffee mugs for a fair price. Non-vegan summer drinks are beautifully served in huge gars with ice cream and whipped cream and look just great, kind of American style. They also have home made chai and home made cupcakes (but again, nothing vegan). Seating is indoors, in a small but lovely and hommy, inviting space, outside on the street (only one small table) and lots of space in the backyard. Can book it for special occasions if you'de like. Not the cheapest place but i much rather support hard-working, kind individuals instead of a global corporation.

I asked another person who was working if they have a waiting list, didn't mind waiting, and was told that they don't have a waiting list, that the only way to get a table was to make a reservation. I asked if they actually meant that if I called up I could get a reservation for later, and was told yup. So I asked for the phone number, was given it, and was genuinely about to call the number of the place while actually standing IN the place, when the first person we spoke to walked by again and said there would be no tables available all day. The whole interaction was super weird, yes I know I was speaking English and no doubt a lot was lost in translation. I was no doubt a little grumpy this morning, and yeah it did seem strange to me that they said they would never take any names, but it's Sunday, I know in Germany reservations are much more of a prescient thing than in a lot of other places, so we left. Cut to 20 minutes later, a friend we were with texted to find out where we were for breakfast, he was on his way to meet us. I told him not to bother with Jimmy's because apparently they wouldn't take any walk ins under any circumstances today.. He texted back to say not only had he gotten a table by just walking in, but he'd gotten a table for 2 I mean fair enough, if you have a policy I'm totally fine with that, yes I was probably arsier about the whole interaction than I should have been. But I sensed from the second I started interacting with the first person that we weren't gonna get a table regardless of whether there was one available or not, and that's what caused my annoyance to escalate. So to find out after I was right, that u could in fact just walk in, or wait, it was simply that they didn't want to help us out, that to me wasn't great. But hey, to each his own, food the day before was still really nice. Hopefully one day they'll crack the whole waiting list/walk in on a Sunday policy.

"Two Large Coffees, two small egg-spinach-bacon pizzas, please" In German, of course, but why show…read moreoff? Still, it was first meal of the day and expectation were somewhere between guarded and hopeful. We were not disappointed -- my traveling companion, being from Brooklyn, declared the pizza among the best he's had outside the tri state area, and being a basic general foodie I have to agree. Thin, the right amount of chew and color, good flavor. Cheese & toppings were perfect measured, and the sauce was spot on without being watery or too sweet. Honestly, with frozen spinach (which worked in this context) as a topping this could easily have been a watery mess of disappointment, but the pies showed up hot, excellent, uncut and delicious. Coffee: Good. Solid drip, neither exceptional nor awful, good supporting role. The ice cream choices, however, will -hurt- you. There are FOUR different menus of ice cream and yogurt confections to tempt. No, not tempt... seduce. They -will- find your weakness and you -will- be enthralled. We ordered a Tiramisu lasagna. They take ice cream and turn it into Italian dishes here, using extruded vanilla ice cream for noodles and ladyfingers for layers. There's also a "Spaghetti-Ice" which looks like a plate of spaghetti with meat sauce until you realize the "sauce" is raspberry compote and the "noodles" the same extruded ice cream. It's a farce, a joke, an amusement and the Germans are grinning at you as you boggle at it. It arrives, seething mist from a frozen plate and laughing at you, kindly. And it's perfect. The ice cream is a custard based creation that dissolves under the spoon into a light, familiar texture of intense vanilla and creaminess and egg and milk-fat that coats the palette like a gentle hug before getting out of the way of the "sauce" that shows up espresso coffee -- not oversweet but far from bitter, with a hint of liquor to let you know they MEAN it. All this sits on a bed of frozen whipped cream that's never been happier to meet your mouth. Cash only, excellent value for the price (the meal with dessert was $28 Euro), and the staff were professional, precise and mostly German-Italians who spoke English well.

I really don't like the San Remo at all. It is true that they have OK ice cream that is somewhat in…read morethe style of Italy, but if you sit down it really isn't a pleasant place at all. Here is what happened. Tonight was one of the hottest nights of summer and a dinner of ice cream for me and salad for my friends sounded pleasant. Anyway, no place else was open. So we settled down at a table (outside) at the San Remo. It wasn't busy and there were a number of waitstaff around but no one was willing to even look at us. After 15 minutes or so of trying to get the attention of the waitstaff, we finally managed to make eye contact, and hot our order taken. What was serve: two not at all tasty salads, no vinegar and oil brought to the table. I was determined to like my ice cream so no complaints about that. Small complaints: no napkin, no questions about whether we ended anything. More attempts to avoid eye contact. At the end of the meal the waitress was induced to come by and do us the favor of accepting payment of the "meal". My friend pay with a $20 Euro bill. "Oh, sorry, I need to get change." The waitress disappeared. When she reappeared it was rushing by, dropping two Euros on the table and then rushing on, to the far end of the restaurant. A small problem: the correct change was not two Euros, but seven. On being confronted, a brief "oh sorry" and she was gone. In sum, bad service from start to finish, and, who knows, a little try to get a very handsome tip against the will of the customer? It is hard to be sure, but isn't that the point of this trick? It COULD be an accident, right? One thing is for sure, my future dealings with San Remo will be limited to the takeaway ice cream outside the restaurant. Visited July 2014
