If Yelp could've let me post this review with ZERO stars I would have. Hifi is a very important…read morething to many people, but at this point, the case here is that the owner of this bankrupt business cares more about money and acquiring it by whatever means. Recently I asked him if he had, or could procure a Technics sl1200mk2, he said, "you know what? I know just the guy, give me 7,500kr upfront and I'll get you that turntable." Sounds about right I thought, "can you give me a receipt, or can we right a contract? I asked. He said "no need, I'll get it to you." Four weeks later, I contacted him, sent an sms, and "asked how's it going? We're you able to get the Technics?" He calls back promptly, "no I didn't get it, cause it was old and needed repairing." At this point I thought, ok, then I'll just go by next week and pick up my cash. When I was in the city again, he doesn't answer his phone. I tried from 10am to 1400, and nothing. Went by his store several times and then the last time I noticed the locks had been moved, I wait outside and in two minutes he comes out, with a surprised and confused look on his face, he says hi. I said "yea, was too bad you couldn't get the 1200mk2, but I understand if you thought it was too old. So can I have my money back?" Then he said "that was not the deal. You said if I couldn't get it for you that you would get this one (turntable he had in his store). I said, "umm no I did not ever say that." We went at it for a while outside his store, cause he wouldn't let us in and it ended up with him going to his store, getting some random turntable, that I never asked for and throwing it out in front of his store, ran to his car and drove off. I checked the price of the turntable and it's way under 4000kr on all the hifi stores online. I haven't opened the box, which is rattling by the way, because I reported him to the police for theft, as well as the consumer authorities in Norway. I plan to get my money back through the courts because I was scammed out of 7500kr. Do not by any means make any business with this desperate man.
