Jim Thorpe is a little town with an oaky smokey vibe so there are a lot of little shops set up to…read moretake advantage of that and sell you a bunch of shitty trinkets trading on that vibe. This is not one of them. Sure, they're in retail so they're getting their herbs and candles and such in bulk and selling them for a markeup. They're a STORE. Duh. The differnce is the quality of the items and the fact that Heather & Zech are clearly in and of the craft, and have a sense for how to help you get what you actually need without taking advantage. Came in recently with my husband and got exactly the candles and herb I needed without being hassled or upsold or in some way bamboozled by that money hungry trinket vendor at a flea market vibe you don't want to deal with. You know the one. It's not likely that I'll come to Jim Thorpe often as it's so out of the way, but if and when I do again, I will come here and stock up on supplies.

There are so many beautiful things to see and the store is continuing to be stocked, so I predict there will always be something new and beautiful. I scored a beautiful rainbow moonstone and a tourmaline. Please support this small business- this is what we need in our town- fresh new businesses.
