Find Jesus Christ because he's the only way to salvation!!
Are you saved?
When we are born, we are NOT all children of God, as Satan has falsely planted into our minds. No, when we are born, we're at enmity (against) God and in a state of rebellion, fulfilling sinful desires of the flesh. We MUST be reconciled (brought back into fellowship) with God in order to be a born again, child of God.
Pay real close attention here....
We were all born under the curse known as sin because we inherited it through Adam and Eve. The Bible tells us we have all sinned and fallen short of His glory and that the wages of sin is death. Death is being referred to not in the physical, as we're all appointed unto a physical death. This is talking about the second death, which is Spiritual and for all eternity.
So, what is a wage!?
You go to work and provide a service, right? In return you earn a wage for those services, right!? The same illustration is used to describe our sinful nature. The wages of our sin debt is to face the second death in the lake of fire, eternally separated from Christ Jesus.
This sin debt is something nobody can repay on their own, nor eliminate through good works. So then, what saves us from eternal damnation?
Here's the good news, which is the Gospel of your Salvation. The good news is that Jesus Christ died for your sins, He was buried, and rose again the third day, DEFEATING DEATH!!!
He conquered the grave...now, what does this mean for you?? It means that Jesus Christ paid the ransom of your sin debt with His precious blood when He hung on that cross 2000 years ago. It means that you must be born again to see the Kingdom of Heaven.
Being "born again" means it's no longer you that lives, but Christ that lives through you.
How can this be??
When you truly surrender to Christ, He breathes new life into you by giving you the gift of the Holy Spirit. You literally become possessed with the Holy Spirit and the Spirit begins operating on the flesh, purging the sinful desires and replacing them with fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance.
He wants your full attention and for you to surrender and submit every part of your life to Him...He wants a personal relationship with you, which was the reason for our creation to begin with. God created man and woman for fellowship with Him.
That's what a personal relationship with Christ is all about. It's about His precious blood washing you clean of sin, past, present and future. His blood was shed to redeem you.
What does redeem even mean!?
Redemption means to purchase back. So then, when you receive Him as Lord and Savior, you are redeemed, bought back into the family of God by His precious blood-- you become a blood bought child of Jesus Christ, born again of the Holy Spirit. This is what the second birth is all about, where old things have passed away, and behold, all things are made new.
Receiving the gift Jesus has for you is something you MUST ask for. I strongly encourage you to pour your heart out to Jesus, confess to Him you're a lost sinner in need of a Savior and invite Him into your life. This is a spiritual baptism-- this is what saves you, through the blood of Jesus. Pour your heart out to Him, as Jesus draws near to the broken-hearted. Confess all that's holding you back and weighing you down-- He knows you better than you know yourself.
Here's an invitation for eternal life
Romans 3:23 & 6:23
For we have ALL sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(You must receive Jesus as Savior. Your body is a temple. If He isn't inside, invite Him today )
Jesus Christ died for your sins, He was buried, and He rose again the third day
Do you believe that in your heart?
A - admit you're a sinner in need of a Savior. (Romans 3:23)
B - believe Jesus Christ died for you. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
C - call upon the name of the Lord. (Romans 10:13)
Repentance requires the acknowledgment and conviction in your heart of your sinful condition, which only comes by fully believing the Gospel-- complete surrender. read more
