During my exploration, I entered Souk-Al-Magreb located at the Morocco pavilion at Epcot as part of my trip to World Showcase. To my surprise, it became one of the most unique stores that I visited. My initial impression was the ambiance. The market style pathway felt like walking through a smaller marketplace. As well, the tiles, the texture and the colors throughout were very impressive.
The items you'll see inside are much more on the handmade or handcrafted item level. Things such as lanterns, rugs, ceramics, jewelry and home décor are located at this store rather. There are some theme parkin souvenirs and pins in a small section within Souk-Al-Magreb. You can take your time at this shop, looking for unique items!
I also appreciated this area since it was less crowded than most parts of the park. You can actually walk around and look at all the details and enjoy the atmosphere. This area seems somewhat hidden, so it makes for a good break from the theme park rides and some of the other areas at the rest of the pavilion or World Showcase.
Souk-Al-Magreb feels more like an attraction! It's immersive, detailed, and a great example of what makes Epcot's World Showcase special at Disney World! Definitely worth a quick stop if you're in the Morocco Pavilion! read more
