Morocco is always a welcome sight during Epcot's world showcase with its shops, bright colors, and restaurants. The lamps and fountain offer a unique setting. This pavilion represents that you've made it halfway through the showcase. read more

The is one of the "more than meets the eye" spots in Epcot. Morocco is one of the final two countries backed by its respective embassy. It resembles a Moroccan temple and shops in Marrakesh. There are a couple of good food spots, but it's mostly a showcase of wares and traditional foods. read more

I really enjoyed this Pavilion! It was probably the cheapest food selection in the park. I ordered a wrap with falafel and it was only $6 and had 4 falafel balls, cucumber some type of sauce. I also had a flight of cider which was refreshing. The pavilion itself is nice and detailed. This is also about halfway through going around the world. read more

No rides, but still my favorite pavilion. It is BEAUTIFUL simply put. Take the time to explore and walk around, the architecture is stunning. There's some very cool shops and cafes with really cool decor, definitely check all of them out. For me, this is a can't miss! read more

The Morocco Pavilion is located in World Showcase at Disney's EPCOT. It is sort of half way around the world. This pavilion is pretty however there is very little to do in there. I wish there was more. They have a small gift shop with very few things for purchase, they used to have a second shop but it has been turned into a meet and greet with Jasmine and Aladdin. They have a sit down restaurant on the water, a quick stand with sweets and drinks, and then a very small "museum" with different things to look at. IN the center there is a small bar selling sangria and small snacks. But that is really it. This pavilion truly needs something else. More shopping, more dining, something. I really wish there was an attraction or a show. They do not even really have entertainment. At times, there is a band that plays at the front of pavilion, but walking through the pavilion is pretty empty. During festivals, one of the festival stands, the Morocco stand, usually sets up in their old quick service. It has a few tables but not many. Sometimes during festivals as well, way in the back (the old sit down restaurant that closed) turns into an annual passholder lounge or a Blue Cross lounge. When they have these, they are really nice because you can go into the AC, sit down, and they usually have free water and tea. But I would love to see something else here. They have closed a restaurant, closed a quick service, reduced their shopping, it's almost as though this pavilion is an after thought. It has so much potential and Disney should definitely work on it. I would say stop here though and walk through. They sometimes have a Disney photographer available as well. The Florida Blue lounge during festivals is free, you just need a "pass". Anyone can get that pass by registering on the My Disney Experience. I always stop here to recharge and relax. But Disney, please expand this pavilion and add something else to it! read more

The best event EPCOT has ever run is currently hosted in the Morocco pavilion's restaurant space in the back. There is a ton of room for Lorcana card trading and game play. Everyone is so kind and happy to be sharing their love for the game together! The line at opening is about 20 minutes long and throughout the day is goes down to a walk-in, but cards eventually run out about noon time. read more

The Italy Pavilion is one of the countries at World Showcase in EPCOT. It is almost half way around world showcase. To start, they do have some of the best photo ops in this pavilion. There are amazing views from the water, the classic Italian fountain and towers you will find in Italy. This pavilion has a few shops including perfume and jewelry. It also has an ice cream and gelato stand at the front of the pavilion, a small shop selling wine, 2 wine carts also selling wine, a wine cellar with a full bar, and then 2 sit down restaurants. They have the classic Tutto Italia which is more pastas and such. The other restaurant is Via Napoli which is pizza. Both are very good, the Via Napoli is harder to get into though, and I would recommend reservations for both. Attached to Tutto Italia is a wine cellar. This used to be walk in, where you go inside the cellar, sit down and enjoy a glass of wine and appetizer, but that has changed and now it is apart of the restaurant, very sad. However, you can still wait and go inside to grab a drink at the bar to go. There is usually a small line outside since they only let 1-2 groups go in at a time. And then if its open, next to the pizza restaurant, there is a window that just sells slices of pizza. It is not open all the time but if you are lucky, grab a slice, its very very good! The only downside of this area is that we don't get to experience a show or a ride. Mexico and Norway have a ride. China, America, France and Canada have a show. There is nothing here and I feel this is the perfect pavilion for a ride. Gondola... enough said. I would say stop by when you're at EPCOT. Grab a cocktail or a glass of wine and enjoy the views. read more

I loved Morocco Pavilion in EPCOT. At the Tangerine Cafe, we ended up getting a Chermoula Chicken and Pistachio Cake. I really liked the taste of the chicken kabobs. I also liked the carrots and chickpeas that came with this dish in salad form. I really want to try to make this at home. The pistachio cake was average. I didn't feel like I tasted the pistachio. The place looked like medinas similar to actual Morocco. The place had shops that sold tagine pots and other Moroccan goods. One of the places had beautiful Moroccan lamps inside with a photo op with Jasmine. My 5 year old side loved it! read more

Agrabah awaits!! The Morocco Pavilion is adorable. This is located inside The EPCOT Disneyland Park at Orlando Florida. It was "a whole new world!" when we entered this pavilion ;) See what I did there? lol This Aladdin themed pavilion is filled with lots of fun. It seriously looks and feels like you are in the movie! I was just waiting for a magic carpet to come sweep me off my feet lol During the day, there are meet-and-greet opportunities to take photos with Aladdin and Jasmin. My friend and I hit EPCOT in the evening, so we didn't get to see any characters. But that is okay lol We were not heartbroken over this by any means. The Morocco Pavilion is just spectacular and also nostalgic. It makes you think of the original Aladdin movie in 1992 with Robin Williams as genie! That movie rocked! read more

There are meet/greet section for Aladdin and Princess Jasmine. The Morocco Pavilion looks like a Moroccan city with a realistic Minaret. As you journey through the pavilion, you'll gain insight on the lifestyle as well as the culture of the Moroccan people through the Gallery of Arts and History. Not to much to do in his pavilion but you can walk out back and get a little peace and quiet from the crowds because most people don't go back there. You also have to get the Moroccan Mule which is one of my favorite drinks. The architecture is really neat and it is a pretty world! I don't typically get food here. read more

The Morocco Pavilion at Epcot is beautiful. It's one of the most beautiful, in my opinion, and often overlooked. I have to be honest and say I never spend much time here though because I just do not care for any of the food at all, so it's not somewhere I usually stop; although, I do always look around and admire the beauty as we walk through. There is one gift shop here that has beautiful "sticks" for keeping a woman's hair bun up. They are made of carved wood and have lovely stones on top. I do stop in every now and then to see if they have any new ones as I really love them. I live in this hot state, so I pretty much always have my hair up in a bun and these "sticks" sure do the job. I took away one star because the Disney prudes took away the "penis wall." LOL If you never got to see it, it was stones on a wall that formed a very phallic shape. Once Disney got wind that people were taking pictures with it and a line was actually forming at all times to get a picture with the infamous "wall," Disney, of course, corrected the mistake (or was it a mistake by some funny contractor? LOL). If you're interested, search for the Morocco penis wall at Epcot, I'm sure Google has tons of photos. LOL read more

Morocco Pavilion is right next to the Japan Pavilion and probably suffers from a bit of comparison, but it is unique and special in its own right! It is significantly smaller than the Japan Pavilion (here I go comparing it right away), but what it lacks in size, it flourishes in charm! This pavilion is lightly themed with Aladdin and feels set up to give you the experience and feel of walking through the streets of Agrabah a bit. It was very delightful, had little pockets of cafes and restaurants for you to discover, and we were able to walk through and do a loop very quickly throughout this pavilion. Not too much to see here, but it was a welcome respite as we found it a bit quieter and calmer than any other space in the park! read more

The Morocco Pavilion is located at the 7/8 o'clock spot in the World Showcase in EPCOT. As we walked around it felt like we were transported into a different space; I liked the architecture and the design of it more than other pavilions. So Morocco does not get a lot of love from us normally or even during the festivals but it is a really cool place to sit and chill. It has some of the best views of the lake as well as just shady spots to sit back and have a drink. Our Zen spot is right in the middle courtyard at one of the covered tables. I am not a big fan of their casa beer so I am usually drinking a Kronenberg from France and Debbie a slushie. Or if coming the other way a Asahi from Japan. The coolest thing about this pavilion is the Moroccan government paid for it and supports it. This was the original intention of them all but Morocco is the only one that followed through. Also another interesting tip is it is right up against hollywood studios so and why the colors blend with the tower of terror. Stand over on the bridges near the Odyssey is amd look across the lake and you will see Tower of terror and how they match in color. YOu have to know to look for it. read more

Ran into jasmine here! There isn't much going on here but the restaurant is right on the lake and has spectacular views of the firework show. So grab dinner here. The pavilion itself it beautiful. We perused the shops, not much I wanted to buy. The habibi camel shirt is cute. They have a stage that does live music. It's more of like a Dj and singers with belly dancers. Very entertaining. We had a problem buying a bottle of water at the kiosk. The system was down and it was a bit painful because the worker did not speak much English. read more

The most underrated and unvisited pavilion in Epcot. You wanna take a nap? Venture off into the deep of this pavilion and find your own "hidden" spots to be alone or take a nap. In my older years I have found that I have to nap when I'm at Disney or I'm gunna die. Find yourself meeting jasmine and Aladdin in this pavilion, walk around the little shops (that have sense seemed to have become smaller) and take a look at the oil lamps and Pashmina's they sell. I have the most beautiful rainbow pashmina from this pavilion. The music they feature in this pavilion is freaking amazing. I didn't have the opportunity to hear the band playing this time around but in 2018? Oh man Sahara beats was what was goin on. We went and watched them like 3 times when we were there for 2 weeks. Idk if they do it anymore but back in the day they used to have someone who would do henna! I'm sure it's gotta be around still. And moroccan food? If you haven't had Moroccan food you are missing out. Not too many places in the country to enjoy something that's authentic like this, and while I've never been to Morocco, the people who work in the pavilion that are from there, they say the pavilion does a good job of representing. read more

The Morocco Pavilion is one of the countries in World Showcase at Epcot in Disney World. It is one of the few pavilions that didn't open with the park but was added in 1984. They actually opened this pavilion with the blessing and help of the Moroccan government - so you know it's legit! There are a ton of shops to look through and shop in, with many fun items to browse & buy. Nestled within one of the shops is a Meet & Greet with Jasmine and Aladdin! All of the buildings are really pretty and fun to explore. One fun hidden thing to look for is the Tower of Terror in the background, blending in perfectly with the Moroccan building-scape. You can get henna! You can listen to some traditional tunes! And most importantly, you can feast! There is sit down Restaurant Marrakesh serving up Moroccan cuisine and sometimes having a belly dancer performing. We've always enjoyed the food in the past. More casually is Tangierine Cafe, a quick service spot where you can also grab a table and just chill outside. I'll sometimes grab a drink from the Spice Road Table (which is both a bar you can just order from and a sit down restaurant along the water) then sit in one of the tables on the main walkway by Tangierine Cafe During Holidays Around the World 2017, the Tarabaki Holiday Kitchen was serving up some fun eats including Grilled Lamb Kefta and Grapes with Julienne of Euro Cucumber, Red Pepper, Pickled Pearl Onions, Harissa and Cilantro Dressing. Yep, I munched on that for $7 and loved it. I really enjoy the Morocco Pavilion as it's clear how much thought and care went into creating an area true to its culture. It's an immersive experience that everyone should spend some time exploring! read more

When talking about authenticity, I don't think there's any pavilion that comes closer to that than Morocco. This is due to the fact that the Moroccan government had a heavy hand in its construction and its current operations. Their influence is so great that they actually forbade Disney from placing lights on the buildings in the pavilion since some represented sacred religious institutions. As such, Morocco never lit up with the rest of the countries during Epcot's nighttime fireworks shows. Morocco is definitely a pavilion you can get lost in; I sometimes forget how large it is - filled with winding corridors and little nooks that sell all kinds of goods. The architecture and decor is so ornate you can really spend a good amount of time just gazing into the intricate tile work. The eateries in the Morocco pavilion are amazing - Marrakesh is such a treat. The food is so honest and delicious - it tastes homemade and is like no other cuisine I've had in Disney World. Tangierine Cafe is another great place if you're looking for more of a quick service meal. Overall, if you have to go to only one pavilion around World Showcase, Morocco is it. They serve the food, the merch, and the overall experience. Take the time to check it out. read more

The Morocco Pavilion is a vibe. It transports you right out of Epcot and into what Americans think Morocco looks like thanks to the movie Aladdin. To that end, it's where you can meet Jasmine, which my five-year-old daughter loved. Unlike other princess meet and greets, there was no obvious line. This place was pretty dead when we came here for lunch. There were a lot of options. I got the Lamb Shawarma. But there was a chicken and a combo (of lamb and chicken) option. They had sliders which were small pita pockets. I saw someone order it and it looked like a good amount of food! My shawarma was a good amount of food as well. My lamb shawarma plate was delicious!! The taboluah (I'm sure I misspelled that) was AWESOME! And the lamb was nice and tender. Really enjoyed all the flavors of this dish and we will be back for dinner tonight! read more

My favorite pavilion of all the ones I saw (I saw them all minus Mexico due to time). This one has several food options and features a walk-in cafe style restaurant with lots of traditional wares that goes pretty quickly, as well as the outdoor kiosk, or a table side full-service restaurant with a great menu. It even has a baklava flight (with about 4-5 different flavors of baklava). For reals?!? I love Mediterranean food and they have a wealth of delicious choices. But that isn't all - it's beautifully done and decorated with a complete re-do of a Moroccan city center with shops and a lovely tiled fountain with lamps. The vendors down the alleyway behind the main fountain feature standard Moroccan wares and clothing, lamps, jewelry and Turkish delights. Princess Jasmine frequents the area for character photo opportunities so if you love her - this is where you'll find her. I really enjoyed Morocco and thought it was one of the more well-done and attention to detail Pavilions of Epcot with some seriously good food, entertainment and shopping. read more

The Morocco Pavilion is unique in the World Showcase. The market is tucked away, and once you delve inside, you can truly pretend you've entered the streets of Marrakesh. I've been back there as the only guest, and it's sort of a trippy experience. I felt really immersed in the ambience, surrounded by colorful textiles, heady incense, and sparkling jewelry. Even if you're not into shopping, just take a walk through the streets. A few years ago, you used to be able to take pictures with Aladdin and Jasmine in the market, but I think Epcot moved toward just having the princesses in the Showcase. Aladdin can still be found by the Dumbo ride in Magic Kingdom. If you've avoided the tantalizing smells coming from Morocco thus far, do yourself a favor and finally take the plunge inside. Morocco Pavilion was great for it contains Tangerine Cafe. Tangerine Cafe probably has the best veggie options for both vegans & vegetarians. I spent six weeks in the Middle East. I love Middle Eastern cuisine as found it some of the best veg cuisine. I will write a more in depth review of Tangerine Cafe in the accompanying review yet will say recommend going there first for a meal. I enjoyed going to some of the shops at the Morocco that gave me a feel of the country. I would love to visit Morocco one day. read more

Only the most magical, inspiring section of Epcot! This spot inspired me to eventually travel to Morocco, and man am I glad that I did. The structures are imitations of real structures in the country and have the beautiful Arab arches, fabrics, and mysterious lighting. There are vendors within the spaces that turn the structures into a mini marketplace. Definitely a must-visit while walking around the circle of Epcot! read more

Hidden treasures abound at this pavilion! The shops here are all tucked away off the main walk, so is easy to walk right by them. I highly recommend you had back and see it all! There are some truly unique pieces and finds here. You can meet and greet with Aladdin and Jasmine here also, and the have a great indoor backdrop for photos. They run in the posted schedule so be sure you look at that for reference! There are a couple of restaurant and food options here, but we have only done the special event kiosk food. Beautiful pavilion. So much I wanted to buy. Friendly cast members. Probably the most immersive of the pavilions. Weirdly, one of the least populated pavilions. Maybe because the food is less familiar? I actually had reservations at one point at the main restaurant because I thought my boys would enjoy the belly dancer, and because it surprisingly has one of the more kid friendly menus in all the Disney Parks, but I ultimately decided against sit down dining in Epcot altogether. As an aside, Morocco is a North African country, but it's informed by multiple influences including North Africa, countries across the Mediterranean like Greece, and yes, the Middle East. I'm kicking myself for not making it back to buy something like a beautiful anklet I was eyeing. read more

I think this is officially my last Disney review from a recent trip... I love the great pavilions at Epcot, but this was one of my favorite places I've eaten at any of the Disney parks. The entire place is very well maintained and the staff are just great. The artwork and music are pretty amazing. The first time I was on vacation at Disney we went here and absolutely loved it...in fact this place was the reason I started eating more middle eastern type foods again. There are lots of great pavillions at EPCOT, and lots of great places to find good food and drink, but this place is definitely worth checking out while you're there. . read more

The Morocco Pavilion is truly incredible. Unlike the other areas within the World Showcase, Morocco is the only country to actually sponsor their respective pavilion. The attention to detail and uniqueness of this area really shine through here. My first visit to this pavilion was to eat at the Moroccan quick service restaurant. While the food is very good, it wasn't until I got lost in the bazaar that I truly appreciated how unique this place really is. As I walked in from the main road I was struck by the beautiful fountain in the middle of the courtyard. The tile work was absolutely magnificent and that level of detail continued throughout. The bazaar was a cross between a street market and actual shops. Each had many very touristy items, but also had rugs, lamps and even camel saddles. I would suspect most visitors wouldn't know what a camel saddle looked like, but it reminded me of the one my parents brought back from Egypt when I was an infant. I considered purchasing one to help relive my youth, but realized I would have no way to transport it home. I imagine they would have worked with me to have it shipped, but just seeing it was enough to bring a smile to my face. Maybe the next time I visit I will buy one. Besides the bazaar, there are several areas where you can get lost. I don't mean get lost in the negative sense, but get lost in your surroundings. I truly felt as if I had left Disney and been transported far away from the hustle and bustle of the theme park. I highly recommend this area of EPCOT. Note: If you are lucky enough to catch the band that plays during the night time hours, you're in for a treat. They're great. read more

It was cool and I got total Aladdin feels the whole time (even bought a small lamp!). It's set up like a bazaar and is just so cool to walk through. I was told there was a belly dancer but unfortunately I was unable to wait and watch her show. I know my family ate here when I was a small child because Mom always reminds me how I wouldn't dance with the bellydancer when she came to our table. I would love to eat here again as an adult. I really enjoyed the lady telling stories from the Muslim religion (thought I don't know what their festival around December is). I would have loved to have heard more because it also includes cultural things that I didn't know. I enjoyed myself and would have liked to have seen more. I would love to visit here again and eat at one of their restaurants. read more
