I have just made a purchase for 140 euros in COIN and was given a 20 euro voucher to use in the…read moreperfume department for a purchase of at least 100 euros. I selected an item for 102 euros and went to the cash desk. There I was told that the voucher was only valid if I subscribed to a loyalty card. COIN gave misleading information about the voucher and clearly attaches greater importance to data mining from clients than to good customer relations. Needless to say, I left the 102 euro item at the cash desk without buying it, a loss for both COIN and for the intended recipient of the perfume.
