Great atmosphere on a Saturday night in early August, excellent and attentive service (Barbara) and high quality tasty food. What more could you ask for?  We were lucky enough to get a table as a walk-in but I would advise booking to avoid disappointment! Leave a decent tip for the hard working staff. Those days are long gone now, but places like Pizza Express do an admirable job of providing masses of consumers with finely topped pizzas, respectfully and unpretentiously year in year out (Pizza Express have also diversified their portfolio and now offer pizzas on supermarket shelves for people inclined to living room dining instead).
