Sopranos changed hands a while ago and we have been continuing to support the restaurant.
The food remains consistently good. They have kept almost all the original menu and added specials - some that work better than others.
So all good ... but what's really missing now is the hosting and ambiance. Having made an effort to speak to the new owners several times I would expect them to make an effort to greet us, which they don't. All the excellent friendly waiting staff have gone and we have been served the last two times by their young daughter ( 12 year old?) which I do not think is appropriate for her or us in what is priced as fine dining.
Feel the restaurant is on a downward slide which is such a shame as have loved it for so long. Whereas before I would go at the drop of a hat, now I am starting to consider other options. read more
