Okay. I know this is probably my fault but. I decided it's been 7 months and I needed a haircut. I should have trusted my gut and not come here. I really should have. First of all the lady who did my haircut cut my hair like a MAD MAN. She was soo violent and didn't listen to me, didn't pay any attention to the Images I showed. I expected this so again probably my fault. I felt she was rushing her ass off. I wish she had listened to me and took her time. I've never had anyone hurt my head before while shaving the sides but she managed. I was shocked she didn't actually draw blood. I asked for a Mohawk and showed many images of what I wanted. By the end she asked me if it was okay and it was AWFUL. I didn't want to tell her anymore what I wanted because it was soo bad I just couldn't handle it anymore. I needed to leave. I get it. They didn't want to cut my hair or my sisters hair and rushed it. If you want any kind of cut that isn't just a normal womens cut I would advice against going here. My sister had images for a pixie cut and also didn't get what she asked for. She asked for her bangs to not be cut straight across and now she looks like baby Huey. Horrible HORRIBLE experience from someone who has such anxiety for getting haircuts because no one EVER listens to me not EVER. This just solidified the fact not only will I never NEVER get my hair cut here again, that I will never get my hair cut in Oklahoma again. And I unfortunately live here. read more

I first got my nails done on Monday, by Tuesday afternoon the polish had ripped completely off four of my nails. I went back in on Wednesday, and they were very nice. They fixed the polish, but by Thursday my thumb polish nail had ripped half off again. I've had this exact polish at another salon in the past, and it's lasted for weeks. It's now Sunday, 6 days after my original appointment and I have an appointment to get them redone somewhere else tomorrow. I'm very disappointed, as a fill and polish change cost me $40 and it lasted less than one week. I am giving a 2 star review rather than a 1 because they were very nice. read more

I can only speak on the nails. They are the best for pedicures. $30 for the basic (and it's wonderful) or for $5 more you can get the deluxe. Either is amazing! I also get acrylic nails here. They do a good job. Their gel polish isn't the best, I've had issues with it peeling the next day (happened multiple times), so I just use one of their regular nail polishes instead (not paying $10 more for something that didn't last). Nice people, good service. Four stars only because of the peeling gel polish. If not for that, I'd give them five stars! read more

I had a gift certificate and came for a mani/pedi. They overbooked so rushed through mine and made a couple who had an appointment at the same time wait an hour. I'm not impressed with the outcome and was super upset with the customer service. Other customers were having to tell me where to wash my hands and where the bathroom was because they employees were too busy to help. I was really excited to get a nice pedicure and I'm thankful I didn't have to spend my own money on that experience. read more

Not only is she a nice person, but she is very attentive to you and does a great job with color and cut. I have naturally curly hair. Not too many people can cut curly hair correctly, Tara can ! If you make an appointment, HONOR IT. I am sick and tired of scheduling my days around making nail appointments, asking multiple times over the phone if you can get me in at a certain time, and being assured over and over you will get me in at a time. 5 TIMES this has happened that I have made an appointment time, showed up early/on time, and had to wait over 30 minutes just to eventually walk out and leave because they were servicing too many other people and didn't care about the appointment that was made. It's unprofessional and rude and wasteful of my time. It is a simple concept. If you own a business that makes appointments- YOU HONOR THE APPOINTMENTS AND THE TIMES THEY ARE SET FOR. Don't own a business if you can't understand and honor your own policies. read more

I came here with my mom and we both got gel manis and regular pedicures. The salon is very clean and had newer equipment. Clearly, they are concerned with keeping things clean and sterile. My nail tech was very thorough and professional and explained what she was doing throughout the process. The owner greeted me during my service and asked if I would like anything to drink. I was also impressed that my nail tech refused a phone call while performing my service instead of taking the call and losing focus on the service. I'm not from here, but will make it a point to visit this salon when I'm back in Muskogee! read more

My 94-year-old mother needed a new stylist because the previous one, her sister (my aunt), had broken her arm. My mom's hairstyle could be described as a 60s bouffant up-do. My aunt had told me that this style isn't one that's being taught in schools any more. Even my own colorist/stylist said she wouldn't attempt it. I called around and found Kayla who stepped up for the opportunity to do something different. She looked at my mom's style, which was kind of mashed up after 2 weeks, reviewed pictures I took when it was freshly done and went to work. She checked back with the pictures every once in a while to make sure she was going in the right direction (teasing hair is a real pain, smoothing it out takes a certain touch). The result was a style which was 90% spot on, but with an updated touch - not as poofy, but sleeker and elegant. I liked it. My mom got compliments. We'll be back. I might even make an appoint for MY hair at Sophisticuts. read more

I have NEVER been treated SO rude at any other business in my LIFE. These peple don't care about how they treat their customers. If one of their hair dressers are rude to a customer and you try to be civil by addressing the problem with the owner, instead of going to yelp or Facebook, but even if you tell the owner that, all she will say is "it's probably best you find a different salon." So, that is what I will do. Brittany Wilson and Kayla Benson are the rudest people there. Kayla said she would shave me bald. She also called me old (I'm about to turn 22 and she's never even seen me) as if trying to use "old" as a derogatory term. So, if you think your "old", then don't go there because she will make fun of you. These are seriously the most unprofessional people I have ever encountered. Sophisticuts is absolutely NOT sophisticated. They, for some stupid reason, think I'm associated with a former tanning lady, whom I've talked to ONCE on the business number the night before I went there and she texted me a list of people to contact about appointments. I'm NOT an employee and they are SOO wrong about who they THINK I am. I seriously had so much stress over this that I tried to file a police report because this woman was legitimately harassing me through the BUSINESS NUMBER and then went as far as to start texting me from her PERSONAL number!!! I was so appalled by this DISGUSTING behavior!!! Would NEVER recommend this to my worse enemy!!! No customer should EVER be treated like this!!! read more

Okay, okay let's be honest! It is clean and a well environment other than some of the employee's. I don't remember what the name was but few I had never been so disrespected! Me and my sister and mother went! Me and my sister where getting haircuts and I swere this lady HATED children she wasn't very rude to me but she was to my sister! My sister was 5-6 at the time and is tender headed and this lady was PULLING at my sisters hair so as a little girl her first reaction was to whine and this lady goes " oh your fine don't be a baby." I have been going there off and on for two years. I used to get manicures there when I could afford it. Now I mainly go in for cut and color jobs. Normally I see Maria if she isn't busy and she does a wonderful job on cutting and coloring hair. I had streaks put in last time and she kept checking on me and being very attentive. They charge the same price for a haircut that Walmart does and I trust them way more. I tell everyone to go by there. Its clean, the staff is friendly, and the price is cheap compared to some places. read more

Went with my daughter for mani and haircut. Acted irritated with my instructions. Laughed with other tech at the amount of my tip (they assumed I wouldn't understand because they spoke in another language but it was obvious). I asked for a cut with as much curl as possible, he blew my hair out straight. Nails are badly shaped. I paid more than enough to get much better quality than what they gave. read more
