He called me the night before (though I missed the call) and well in advance of my landing to confirm that I had arrived and when he would pick me up. I could not have had a better driver for the ordeal we went through. There was a major accident on the highway with delays of two hours. Though it took us almost three hours to get to Ocala, it was not within his control, but he tried his best to take an alternate route which likely got us there in more time than we would have if we had gone on the highway. Joe was friendly and knew a lot about the area. I felt badly I was so tired, but he took it all in stride and got me directly to my destination. Detours, closures, lane changes, numerous road cones and blinding flood lights are the normal. These changes are random and sometimes nightly. Yes, I eered in my driver skills and wasn't aware of that nights construction changes. I immediately corrected my error with no further problems.
