She helped us meet our contractor's deadlines, so we stayed on track to finish the project within 4 months. Everything came out so beautiful! She put us to work to sort and go through things, and in real time reorganized and rearranged furniture, books, and aesthetic. We went from apparent chaos to which we'd become accustomed to several new rooms, and a new found appreciation of what we already had. She can work wonders, and I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Wit Interiors was exactly what I was looking for! They created a beautiful vision for my home and executed everything with precision. Their team was beyond amazing from start to finish. We asked Tessa to come up with a plan to match the entryway to the style of the rest of the house. Tessa wildly exceeded our expectations! She put together an excellent plan, patiently waited for us to decide whether to move forwards, connected us with an excellent contractor that she regularly partners with, and closely managed the project, revising on the fly to add additional improvements. I can't emphasize enough how much we love the results. We smile every time we enter the condo now - many neighbors have come by unsolicited to congratulate us, and our HOA has commented that the work will more than pay for itself if/when we ever sell the unit. In sum, Tessa excelled in design, project management, and construction management. We highly recommend Tessa!

Maureen is absolutely exceptional -- we could not have found a better designer for our renovation…read more We worked with her on two bathrooms (guest and primary) as well as our primary bedroom, with all construction happening while we were away traveling, and the experience could not have been smoother. We loved partnering with Maureen on the design. She made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free, helping us bring our vision to life while elevating it in ways we couldn't have done on our own. For every decision, whether it was shower tiles or cabinetry wood, she presented us with a thoughtfully curated set of options, saving us from hours of researching online and in-store. She also provided invaluable guidance on where to invest and where to be more cost-efficient, all without ever compromising on quality. I also cannot emphasize enough how incredible Maureen's eye for design is along with her ability to tailor her recommendations and the design to your personal style and goals. During the renovation, we were traveling internationally and so Maureen managed the overall project, sharing regular updates and photos. We're incredibly grateful we trusted Maureen with our home and are thrilled (though not surprised) that the end result was perfect and exceeded all expectations. Often times, designers have the same "look" for multiple projects. Not Maureen - I could tell she chose finishes based on her client's preferences. Our late 1970s home was in dire need of new floors, interior doors, and an updated stair banister. Maureen suggested an initial walkthrough to ensure she would be a good fit. From the moment she showed up, I enjoyed being in her presence. The brief suggestions she made were in line with my ideas, and I knew I had to work with her. Maureen was mindful of our budget. She would always ask my opinion prior to sourcing design choices, even after I communicated that I had full trust in her. It was true collaboration. Maureen consistently stayed on top of timelines and would keep me updated in a timely manner. We enjoyed working with Maureen so much that we decided to add on a master bath remodel. I now get to wake up every morning in the beauty of our new home. I'm certain that this vision would not happen if it weren't for Maureen's talent. For me, having someone design your home isn't just about their skill and creativity, it also includes how they made you feel through the process. It doesn't get any better than working with someone who is honest, trustworthy, reliable, and talented.

Kimball got back to my initial inquiry right away, offered an informed and realistic quote, and outlined her process in an appealing and accessible way. I gave her a deranged word salad of the aesthetic I was looking for and she outlined it into an action plan, developed a gorgeous color palette, taught me how to do simple home edits and fixes myself, offered a bunch of insider discounts, provided a range of price point choices for various items, helped me place orders, and made sure every single order was correct. At one point she even came to my house to personally install two lamps and a rug because I was out of town when they delivered. When another lamp arrived damaged, she got me a replacement for free. By the end of her process, I was living in the most gorgeously decorated house I've ever seen, and the total expenditures came out significantly UNDER her original estimate. In short, she's amazing to work with, experienced at what she does, and will absolutely blow your expectations out of the water. No question. My wife and I bought a remodeled home in SF last year, which we wanted to have furnished before moving in. We had tight budget constraints, no solid concept of our style preferences, and a lot of other things going on at the time. Through it all, Melanie was always great about setting our expectations early and often (regarding cost, timing, services offered, etc), and understanding when things came up that may have caused us to get back to her later than expected. Her process is refined but flexible, and structured in a way that allows for minimal input from us, but yields a wow-factor that we rediscover every time she presents her concepts (which are our favorite sessions). Through all of your interactions with her--even if she doesn't seem like it--she will take note of every nuance in your habits and preferences, and always keep them in mind as she plans out the design for your space. It's kind of incredible how she seemingly thinks of everything when it comes to all of the aspects of designing a room: the flow of the space, furniture & sizing, color palettes, materials, intended use of the space, lighting, privacy, energy, vertical space, artwork, and she even takes her own measurements! She is worth every penny she charges (and some), and we are as happy to open our wallets to her as we are every time we step into our home. Everything she sourced for us is absolutely beautiful and it all came together better than we could have ever hoped for. Last but not least, we are very proud of our home and we LOVE seeing people's reactions when they see it for the first time! We are grateful to have found her, and once the weather improves, we'd like to have her design our backyard as well!
