When I find a good barber I like to share the experience so I can maybe help someone avoid getting a bad haircut at another place. The positives: -The quality of the haircut -The barbers take their time to provide a great cut -They use straight razors to get a clean shave and crisp lines -The barbers are friendly, have fun, and create a welcoming environment -For the quality they provide, the cost is super cheap ($14 dollars for a hair cut; $5 dollars for beard trim and straight razor; $3 dollars for beard trim) -I have seen children in the shop each time I have been there so they are good with kid cuts -Best fade I have gotten in a while Ways I think the shop could improve: -Offer appointments through a service like Resurva because the wait can be long at times -If the shop stays as busy as it was this morning, hire a shop receptionist to handle appointments/walk-ins, interact with waiting customers and keep the shop clean after cuts -Hang more artwork and offer hair and beard products for people to purchase after a cu If you haven't gotten your hair cut here yet, you should! I am new to Elizabethtown and I needed to get a hair cut, so I did what I typically do when I want…read morerecommendations: I turned to Yelp. Chris' Hair Studio had some good reviews so I decided to take a chance, and I am really glad I did. I called and was told that there was an opening with Daniella in less than an hour from when I called, if I wanted to come in right away. Since I was long overdue for a hair cut I said yes. The location is just 5 mins from my house, which makes it super convenient. I arrived a few mins early and Daniella was easy for me. The atmosphere of the salon is relaxed and friendly; there were several other clients getting their hair done by other stylists. Daniella was very personable and pleasant, and I felt comfortable with her from the first "hello." She asked what kind of style I was looking for and listened well to what I had to say. Then she described her plan to achieve what I wanted. She gave me some lovely layers and really brought out the best in my wavy/curly hair. I am well pleased with the job that Daniella did on my hair. And the price was reasonable as well. If you are looking for a great stylist in an inviting atmosphere, make an appointment with Daniella at Chris' Hair Studio today! I think you will be glad you did! :)

The next morning I got up for work and noticed the back of my hair was not what was expected. So of course what yelped would do, you would post a review. The salon reached out, offered assistance. Samantha was the hairstylist that reached out. I couldn't get in due to circumstances coming up with unknown weekend plans with upcoming weekend off. I got ahold of her this morning and got in with her after going against my better thought of not going back in and well, I'm just gonna say, Samantha got ya girl right! She fixed everything and I am so happy with my hair now. I couldn't be anymore satisfied with my hair as I am right now.

The whole time I was on my way I thought I was going to get a haircut from Eric.( I'm from out of town) Reason being is because I called the day prior to schedule an appt with him and I was just told to show up @ 9 AM which I did along with my friend. When we walked in we told em we were looking for Eric. Shawn said, naa he ain't in but I can get you. So based off the Instagram page the haircuts looked smooth so we went ahead and went with it. Blasé blasé we get our haircut. So when my cut was done I briefly look at it in the mirror and well let's just say he didn't comb my hair and I couldn't see my actual full haircut. So I tried to check out the fade and from a distant it looked okay. Now mind you it's a comb over hard part. With a low fade. When I say hard part my hard part now looks like a freeway. So haircut is done I look at it. I'm not content and at this point I had already accepted my hair is jacked up. But i didn't want to be rude because I know there was no fixing. . . But i didn't think I was that bad. I just figured it was a small smudge I'll survive. But when I got home showered and attempted to comb it!?!?!! I know have to shave my head cuz of how think my hard part is and it's unacceptable. The fading I can try and fix with another barber but I shouldn't have to go to another barber to get my fade blended properly. And that was my experience.
