Maplin sell computer accessories as well as all the parts to go in them too. They sell audio cables and connectors too. If you visit their online store you will see the vast amount of products available in your local store. The store itself has a catalogue which allows you to have part numbers ready or have parts ordered in. At the back of the store you will fin a handy counter where the technicians will quite literally be able to build your desired part if they dont sell it or if you need something special making up. The only bad thing about the maplin chain is that they can be a tad expensive on some things, but you do get a professional service where the satff know what they are tlking about in all aspects of what they sell.

If you decide to cash in and sell your items to them, remember that if you ask for you money in cash you will get less than if you have it as a CEX store voucher so best bet is to swap for store credit and replace the stuff you didn't want for stuff you'd love. Recently I got rid of a load of DVDs I'd been given over the years and an ancient phone and got series 1 of heroes instead great deal as I wanted that and wasn't using any of the stuff I sold.

Don't get me wrong, occasionally you can get a good deal or something a bit different, but I really do mean occasionally . There is not a huge amount of choice in terms of electronics and accessories nowadays, and what they do have is really overpriced. As for the games, to be honest, I can get them cheaper brand new in most cases, so I have given up even looking. I know they are a business and they need to make a profit, but selling second hand games for more than they cost brand new makes no sense to me. Perhaps things will look up in time, but for the moment at least, there are far better places I would recommend.

I even got a discount as it was not the current version. However, one good member of staff does not make up for the other ones who could not be bothered to help.

Personal delivery is undetaken by the store staff, & installation/set-up is also offered. They also have regular treats for those who are loyal customers as well as giving rewards often ranging form free minuites texts and money back. As for the shop it self in Stevenage, the people are always really friendly and don't bother you if you are just browsing unlike other network providers. I would recommend o2 to anyone, the more people who are on o2 you know the more money you can save.
