I went here with a friend for a sort-of info session/open discussion hosted by 4 women with…read more"spiritual" gifts. They discussed numerology, astrology, reiki, hypnotherapy, meditation, "talking" to spirits, tarot, etc. I would consider myself to be more of a believer than not, but I do have my limits. While I found the topics discussed to be interesting and sometimes enlightening, I was a little put off by some of the topics. I DO believe that spirituality can help heal physically and mentally...to a degree. To say it has completely cured cancer with no other treatment I think is a dangerous thing to tell people and extremely unlikely. Also, as a supplement, or in place of psycho-therapy, absolutely. But to insist that no one needs medication for a mental disorder can be damaging and reverses the progress we've made in the mental health community. It IS OK to take medication if you need to. There is enough shame surrounding the stigma of mental health as it is. No one should be embarrassed for taking medication. However, those are a matter of opinion, and would not discourage me from returning for a reading of any kind. The women were knowledgeable, kind, and easy to talk to.

She asks questions and tries to get tidbits of info from you that she can use to assume other things. Everything she said during our medium reading was generic and something she could have inferred by something else that we said or agreed to. Nothing special was said that really truly made me believe my loved ones were there with me. I felt she could have said the same exact things to someone else and they could have also applied. She chooses "safe" options to say if you don't give her a lot of info to feed off. Truly heartbreaking to experience. I just hope Catherine finds it in her heart to no longer prey upon the vulnerable by faking and taking their money during their difficult times. Please look into another place to go to!

I have been in the market for a squirrel riding a rattlesnake for awhile. There were skulls and bones of dead animals, some leatherworks and other interesting items. Enter Niko, the owner. Niko didn't seem like the gypsea type but very down to earth and kind. I asked him about the squirrels, he said "no they are hard to come by because you have to get them right after they die and usually they are roadkill, but I wish i would love to do a squirrel!" "So would you ever do a cat?" i asked. Well he got really excited just thinking about it. "Man that would be awesome I would love to do a cat" "So if my cat dies then what do i do? Do I put him in the fridge or the freezer?" He says "the freezer is best but either works, then call me asap it's best to do them fresh". I take his card and buy a bat for my creepy wall. I love my bat BTW I think it was $25 or $30. Anyway he says the bat symbolizes having been through terrible trials and it represents regaining strength and being reborn and surviving. That to me hit home hard I had no idea but given the circumstances of my life it was perfect for me. Flash forward a year. I have now seen Niko a few times at the OB Farmers Market. He always asks about my cat. Well the day before Thanksgiving my kitty was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The Doctor gave him 2 to 3 months tops. Devastated I called Niko. Mind you my friends are all against this. But my cat is the most beautiful soft glittery bunnyfur having bengal cat around. He will be mine for eternity! (muhhhuuuuaaahhhaa) So I tell Niko the news and he says "are you willing to do something to try and save your cat even though they say it's terminal?" Confused i replied "like what?" He says "well I make potions and cast spells. I can pray to the cat goddess Bastet and ask her to look over him, bless and heal him. and do a spell for him. Now I am thinking WTF in my head OKAYYY, and there is a cat goddess and I have no knowledge of this? "Guess it can't hurt yes please go ahead". Then he asks me to pray to Bastet Well I am Catholic and well one of the 10 commandments says "no worshiping false gods". So I humored him and said I would but I did read the prayer he sent me out loud. ANYway flash forward to today...My cat is still alive and purring. He doesn't seem sick? He eats a lot he is skinnier but he is old (15). According to the vet he should have died in February. Coincidence? Niko just check on us again the other day and sent us more blessings. He didn't charge me for anything other than for the bat in case anyone was wondering. He is now traveling between here and CT so catch him if you can.

I had never…read morehad a face to face consultation with her--but she came highly recommended by more than one person that I know. I was nervous prior to our reading, but she was very disarming. She launched into some of the messages that she was receiving from spirits and asked me by very eerily accurate description to identify them. Dawn did not fish for information--instead, she provided details that neither of my friends who recommended her to me could have known. I received a spiritual confirmation on many questions I had about people in my life--both past and present--as well as some direction and suggestions for the months ahead to give me clarity. I took notes throughout the reading--although I wish I had done so more effectively. There is a great deal of ground covered within the session. I would suggest the questioner prepare in advance to make the most of the reading. I thank Dawn and plan to consult with her again in the future.

She's supposed to read you and guide you, not judge and be rude.

Just being in that room gave me a feeling of pure love and peace. Many "connections " were made with many loved ones who had crossed. During the second half , Lynn asked if anyone knew someone whose name was Larry. I kept looking around to see who this person was and realized that was my brother in law. Lynn continued his message by saying he was married to my sister (gave her name) then said to give her a message. Then Lynn said my husband Ron was speaking and thank me for wearing something that no one knew about and he was taking care of our son. Even my son who passed in January came through. She told us about the many signed our loved ones send us everyday. I am blessed to say I find dimes in unexpected places. I even had a group reading at my home where each one who attended got messages from their loved ones who have crossed. Lynn is a true gift to us. The messages received from our loved ones has brought healing to my son, my friends, sister and me. I highly recommend the purchasing of her book Divine Dimes. The most uplifting book I have read. She talks of different things about how to be aware of our loved ones sending us signs like the dimes and other signals sent us. Lynn is truly a genuine medium helping us heal and feel the love of our family who have crossed. I will always be in contact with Lynn and will buy her books. I pray that Lynn will continue to help us connect with our loved ones and am truly blessed to call her my new friend . Love Suzan F

Sometimes we go to New York City and other times we find something to do closer to our home base (the lovely town of Ridgefield). If you've ever participated in one of those paint and sip parties and figure that this is the same-old thing, you'd be mistaken. The similarities are not hard to miss. (1) You bring in your favorite snacks and beverages (particularly the adult beverages that we all love, WINE!), (2) you will paint stuff, (3) there is expert assistance to help you paint stuff, and (4) it's an estrogen-rich environment (think girl's night out). Usually, for the paint parties, you have to paint what the instructor decides to paint. In my experience, it's a forced affair--sometimes stressful and rushed to get the group out and make way for the next--with the end product landing squarely on the floor of my closet until I pitch it. The plank painting experience lets you know that this is different, because when you sign up, THEY LET YOU DECIDE what you want to paint! When you arrive, the project is professionally laid out for you, with your name on it. The individual guidance doesn't end there. There were about 20 people there, working on projects, and 3 staff members, but I never felt neglected. There were announcements that fit everyone through the event, but a lot of the instructions were one-on-one. Suggestions were made and a plan was agreed with each individual. The staff even adapted the projects on-the-fly to make it an optimal outcome, making some of the art very personal. Ample time was given to each person and help was given without stress. The one thing (among many) that I appreciated was that we were allotted several hours and then ended up taking more. The staff was gracious and patient and never uttered a word that we took too much time. They made it WONDERFUL fun and I know that we'll be back in the future!
