This Sonic is absolutely terrible!!! Was there recently and pulled up to the order station because a giant trash truck was blocking the drive thru lane. I pushed the order button and received NO response! So I then saw that the trash truck had left so I pulled around to the drive thru. If I could give zero stars to this place I would!!! There literally is no management team.. everyone who works here is under 18! They take an hour just to bring out 2 ice creams and just hand you your food and walk away... we came there at 10:04 on a Saturday and all the lights were and cars were parked there.. we pulled up through the drive through and they yelled at us they were closed.. when they are supposed to be open until midnight, when we asked why they yelled "closed" at us. Long wait for food. The person who took my order had a bad attitude as soon as she started my order. She wasn't listening to what I was saying. The food looked like they threw it in a bag shook it then dumped it on the bun. No presentation what so ever. The lady who delivered the food had RBF and looked like she hated life. Before last Saturday night I might have given this Sonic 3 or even 4 stars, but now I don't know if I will ever go back there. We pulled into the car service area at night after driving back late from Denver. My wife ordered the grilled cheese. Somehow the cheese was melted while the bread was still plain white bread on the outside. No sign of grilling at all. How do you screw up grilled cheese? My cheesburger was even worse. It had HAIR in it. I threw away the whole meal and left. I was too upset to even go inside and talk to them about it. I tried calling the 866 number on the receipt later to complain, but after listening to hold music for 10 minutes I hung up. Extremely disappointed in what used to be a restaurant I liked. Drove up to the sonic drive-thru and waited about five minutes with no answer. Parked in front of the door at one of the little pull up and order signs. Clicked the button and waited for ten minutes while watching the lady inside look up at us and ignore us. We looked up the times to make sure it was still open and they still had 30 minutes before they were supposed to close. All we wanted was two drinks. The lady continued to ignore us. As we started pulling away we saw another guy walk around the corner. Now showing us that TWO people had sat there and ignored us for fifteen minutes. Horrible service. Horrible workers. I will not be returning to this location ever. Sad excuse for a great fast food restaurant. read more

I wish they has a zero rating. Never, never again. What happened to happy hour pricing? Went to drive thru ordered 2 cherry limeades cost over $6. Two large drinks no drink carrier, leaky caps, mess in car. Got home and had 2 cups of ice with watery lime flavor no cherry but each drink had 4 lime slices. Was this suppose to make up for the watery drink? Last trip there over a year ago 2 coney dogs at drive thru, got home had 2 hot dogs on plain dry buns. Lesson learned. Let me start by admitting that I'm no frequent visitor to Sonic. Of course, this location has forever lost my business, but they probably won't care since I don't usually find myself craving greasy "tater tots" or milkshakes at 11:00pm. From the looks of it, management doesn't really care about the customer experience. Tonight, we started our "adventure" by pulling into one of the few vacant car-hop spots. After listening to a full half-inning of baseball (probably 8-10 minutes) with no response to the "push here to order" button, we decided to give the drive through a try. From start to finish, the drive through took 40 minutes for two milkshakes. This was a leisure trip, and we had 40 minutes to spare, but it was the observations of the business during those 40 minutes that made this such a remarkably sour experience. The staff were disgusting. Filthy, rude,vulgar, incompetent... I'm not sure if some of them had bathed in the prior week. The poor girl at the register alternated between her cell phone and counting money - an interesting choice of tasks given the estimated 30 cars patiently waiting on service. From the widow, where we must have spent at least 15 minutes, we watched the staff do anything but work. With frustrated customers pulling out of line, switching car-hop stations, walking to the ordering desk, and honking their horns to try to get someone's attention, the staff worked at a snail's pace and spent much more time fraternizing than working. When we finally received our milkshakes, the cashier/cell-phone girl didn't know which was which, and her excuse was "I didn't make them". She also forgot to give us straws and was the rudest little brat I've seen in fast food in quite some time. Sonic: this was a fail of epic proportions. You guys really stink. (Literally) read more

Been here twice, both times waited long enough in the almost pitch black drive thru lane that I started to think I was going to be mugged. Fortunately, when someone finally spoke to me my trip went very quickly. Unfortunately, this was only because I was going for ice cream and by some miracle (lazy staff shutting down the machine way before closing and lying about it so they could work less) both times there was no ice cream so I didn't have to wait but could just drive off. I hate to give a bad review but we used this Sonic on North Main for a second time in 2 weeks and the wait time was ridiculous. Last night was 42 minutes in the drive-thru. Order was not taken for 30 -35 minutes. 2 weeks ago the wait in drive-thru was at least half an hour. I'm not sure if this is a franchise but if it is Sonic may need to step in. read more

I would give this place negative stars if that was an option. Every single time with out fail, we either wait 30 minutes for someone to take our order or we leave with out any food after the first 5 minutes of waiting. The drive through is awful and parking is even worse. I actually like to eat at sonic but this particular location is the worst. Never coming to this one again. Just hit up the local Sonic which I've been craving for a while. Horrible from start to finish. Guy on the drive thru intercom tells me to order whenever I was ready. I was ready so I started to order, he told me to wait cuz he lost his card. After a few moments he told me to go ahead and order. I had to repeat myself several times. At the window I was told to insert my card for payment, it didn't work. I was handed my drink then told they were opening a new can of hot fudge (for the sundae I ordered for a co-worker). Had a different employee come to the window a few moments later asking for payment I said I already had. Then she tried to had me a drink (already had mine). Received the shake I ordered. Finally got my food. I said I really hope the tots aren't cold since that was my whole reason for coming today. They brought me fresh tots, both were cold. Finally received the sundae. Had ordered nuts for it, didn't receive them and the hot fudge was cold and the soft serve is horrible. I will NEVER visit this location again. So disappointed. read more

I was in the drive through ( only car) And it took the girl 15 min to get me a bag of ice and a kids meal then had to wait for a manager to get there to give me change ! She could tell that was upset that it was taking so long, she told me to fuck off and to have a nice day !!!! Not only was she rude and look like no one had showered in weeks !!!!! Wish I could have a zero star review however I have gone to this sonic 4 times and this time will be my last. First time we went there we went at 9:30 they told us they were closed and when I questioned them they said they closed early on weekends I pointed out the hours were the same on weekends and they shut the window on me. Second time we went there we went to the stall and waited for 30 minutes just kept pushing the button for someone to take my order. After 30 minutes someone finally said the stalls are closed and that I had to go through the drive through, while I was in the stalls the drive through was completely free with no one there, why no one said anything earlier I have no idea. I spent 10 minutes waiting in line at the drive through and they messed up my order giving me the wrong persons food, I shouldn't complain but I got more than I ordered but the food looked burnt and non edible. The third time they told us they were closed at 10 and again had the window shut in my face. Tonight however was the worst, I spent 10 minutes waiting in the stall and kept pressing the button to get someone to take my order. I could see the whole staff in the window while the girl April who was supposed to be taking orders was flirting with two guys in the drive through. I decided after 10 minutes to go through the drive through see if that would get this girls attention, it did not. It took 5 minutes of me saying hello? Before the manager took my order, pulled up and the girl was still talking to the guys for an extra 5 minutes before the manager told her to wrap it up. When we pulled up I was expecting excellent customer service with how much she was talking to the guys (complete sarcasm) she told me the total and then closed the window and slid my card about 10 times (hopefully no double charge or anything) before the manager came and started talking to her I'm not sure what he said but I heard her response in a yell of "I'm getting to it okay!" She then gave me the card and food we ordered without saying a word. A couple minutes later the manager came and gave us our shakes and asked "did you guys pay?" If this girl has a streak of giving food without accepting payment and holding up the line and not taking orders I'm wondering why they don't fire her or just close down the store with the average star rating here being 1 and only because (from the reviews I read before posting) yelp doesn't offer a zero star rating. Me and my friends arrive at this Sonic at 10:30pm and pull into one of the drive-in spots. After waiting 10-15 minutes hitting the red button repeatedly, and witnessing other people receiving service, we decided to use the drive thru. The lady taking our order sounded like she couldn't speak English. We ordered a chili dog, a hot dog, tater tots, and 2 drinks. Took her about 5-10 minutes to understand what the hell we were ordering. The hotdog, specifically was supposed to have ONLY MUSTARD. Then after waiting 30 minutes in the drive thru with only 1 person in front of us, we finally arrive at the window only to discover the employee looked like she was cracked out of her mind on meth, and could barely say the word, "hotdog." When we receive our cold ass food, my fucking hotdog had ketchup and mustard on it. Let's also not forget they had no ice cream even though their restaurant specializes in milkshakes and ice cream. Never going again, would rather run my dick through a cheese grater and eat my shredded dick before I let them serve me food again -1/10 hope it burns down. read more

This morning I experienced the worst in fast food drive-thru history. I pulled in line at this Sonic I was three cars back from the order board. Each car was taking over 5 minutes to get their order through. When I pulled up to order I was asked to wait a moment. I waited at the order board for 5 minutes before I even got to order. This is now 15 minutes into the experience. I ordered, waited...waited slowly moved forward...waited. It was well over 20 minutes before I got to the window to pick up my food. The young lady handed me my drink and a Sonic sack and I drove off. The food in the sack was not my order. Sad, over 20 minutes and it is the wrong order. I turned around and marched it inside. My order was still sitting in the sack on the back counter and she exchanged the sack. Cold french fries, cold burger. This was the poorest experience I have personally had at any drive-thru. SAD...I wouldn't recommend any Sonic and this one should be out of business. read more

Worst Sonic I've ever experienced! We moved to Longmont a few months ago and have given this place a few chances hoping it would get better. WRONG! I went to pick up lunch for my husband on two separate occasions was told (at 11 am) that they were not making onion rings that day. What Sonic has days they just "don't make onion rings"? I ordered around it and left. Next trip popped in for a drink and had to wait 20 plus minutes in the drive-thru to even place an order and when I drove away, my watermelon slush was so sour I thew it away. These have always been my favorite Sonic drink..I know what they taste like so I was left wondering what I had actually been given that day. The kicker that will forever keep me away from this location is the night I stopped to grab us dinner after work and I asked for cheese sticks. When I got home I dug them out of the bag to find 2 of them had been bit in half and placed non-bite side up back in the carrier box. I was disgusted and mortified! My husband called up to Sonic to complain but nobody would answer the phone. We both threw everything away and went out to eat. This place sucks! Never, never, again.. read more
