All 3 of my orders had the wrong sides. They didn't bother to check what sides went with which burger. Also the burgers toppings were all mixed up. It appears whoever built the hamburgers didn't pay attention, nor did the person who double checked the order. I also was disappointed in the quality of the hamburgers. The hamburgers toppings appeared to be a soupy mess. There was really no substance. Better lettuce, tomatoes, and onions would make the hamburger so much better. Everything was so thin and a sloppy mess. The restaurant has an app and there are also kiosks inside if you wish to customize your order. There are burgers, chicken sandwiches, and salads. They also have shakes, malts and deserts. If you are hungry at 3am, don't worry. They are open 24 hours, and can serve you breakfast.

Most of us downloaded the mobile app which gave us a free Charburger with a purchased drink. Got there at 11:20 and we ordered at the counter. The inside was empty so we had plenty of space for our group. The cashier and manager at the time were very friendly and took our order and helped some of the guys with the mobile app situation. I think we all opted for the standard Charburger and possibly added cheese to it. I chose to split the regular fries and the tempura beans but others tried the sweet potato fries and onion rings along with just the fries. The opinion on the burger was varied. We had comments from it being very bland to excellent (one person said bland/tasteless and one said great). The majority said that the burger was good but nothing out of the ordinary. It had a nicely done burger with good meat, lettuce, mayo, onion, tomato and I think a pickle. I honestly felt that I could've ordered from Burger King or What-a-Burger and it wouldn't have been that much different. It had a sesame seed coated bun which was fine. The best thing that two of us had were the tempura green beans. Absolutely fabulous. A light crispy coating and yet the bean was totally cooked perfectly. I placed an order to take home to my wife and she thought they were great. The one person from California ordered a shake and said it was very good. Most of us ordered a soft drink just because of the mobile app giving a free char burger with a soft drink order. The shake did look good however. I will definitely return and try a shake next time and also order the beans again. I can't say anything about the other burgers since we pretty much ordered the same thing. Our average rating was 4.5 for the group, which is very good.

Curiously, my wife's Southwestern salad featured breaded cheese curds, along with the breaded deep-fried chicken. The portion was generous and the dressing complemented the fresh greens. She wasn't able to finish her salad but I know she liked it because we became our "Doggie Bag." When I read the description of the Cobb salad I didn't notice that it included bacon, so I opted for some grilled chicken. Turns out my salad had a ton of crisp bacon so I got lots of protein with this one. I opted for the blue cheese dressing, and whatever blue cheese was not in the dressing was in the salad. We sat outside on the patio; the evening featured low humidity, and a nice view of the lake. Our server was very friendly and attentive, as was the hostess. Cuisine: 9 Service: 9…read moreDecor: 7 Value: 9 Overall: 9 I love this place! I wish we had a chain of affordable fried seafood restaurants that had such awesome service and deliciousness. The concept for the food here is "part Greek, part Southern, all Carolina". From what I can see, most of the entrees are southern based, but the sides have that Mediterranean touch. So far, my favorite menu items here are the fried shrimps, which are super addicting. They are mini sized popcorn shrimps, but don't let that fool you because it's a punch of flavor. Nice crispy batter that's not too thick, juicy and bouncy little shrimps that pairs wonderfully with the tartar sauce. Another thing I loved was their fried flounder. Perfectly cooked every time. The flaky flesh of the fish inside of that crunchy crust just can't get much better. One last honorable mention is their fish sandwich, which is packed with Alaskan fish fillet and that yummy tartar sauce. I would be dismissive if I should not bring up the amazing service of this "fast food" restaurant. I see the servers cleaning the tables and chairs constantly every time I'm here while providing a friendly smiling face whenever they are nearby. They ask how my food was and take the trays away when I'm done. All other fast food chains should learn from Showmars.
