I ordered an all American dog with NO onions. The cashier read my order back with NO onions. But still onions managed to end up on my dog. I have a severe onion allergy. You all need to learn to read and follow the directions in front of you. It's pure laziness at this point. read more

The last couple experiences I've had here have not been good. Told one thing by one employee and then told the opposite by another and then get rude. I guess they no longer mix the blasts, they just put candy on the top and bottom and that's it. We've also been ordering blasts with nerds for what seems like forever. This location gives us the hardest time about it lately. Told they can't do it and then when told they've always done it, they sigh, give attitude and ultimately do it. Man oh man. I grew up eating sonic and I haven't had it in a few years. I came here only to be DISAPPOINTED. First things first. It was EMPTY at lunch time. HUGE RED FLAG that I ignored. At the menu, They had a nice hand written note saying they don't take Apple Pay/Tap/Contactless. COVID IS STILL REAL and it's odd this far past COVID to not have. Service was mediocre at best. Felt more rushed to order my food just to wait 15 minutes to get to the window. Now the food was the real problem. They cooked in salt, seasoned with salt, then packaged WITH SALT! Like seriously DIAL BACK THE SALT BEFORE YOU KILL SOMEONE! It's unethical how much salt you guys use. The only thing that wasn't salty was my ocean water that had ice like a snow cone. Took 4 sips and it was gone. The "footlong" was 3 regular dogs on one bun. That's all I gotta say there. They do not care here. At all. If the "Give a F" Factor went up a little bit. JUST A LITTLE. This location always has such a long wait for food and the thing is there not busy so it's hard to understand. I decided to give them 1 last shot, as I reached the window I noticed a hand written sign (un-professional) explaining how many ketchups they give out per order lol. They take this serious. Came to order slushy I paid and left. Not even 5 minutes later I tried the slushy and it was like pure liquid no ice... so I went back to see if they could remake it and she said they could not give me my money back or remake the slushy to a different flavor or anything and she said "no since I gave you what you ordered and the flavor you chose you can't get anything to replace it" So she took the slushy back and didn't give me my money back. Worst experience ever... McKayla which was the worker was giving attitude and bad customer service. I do not recommend at all ever going to this sonic location.. read more

Dinuba Sonic has a poor reputation in the community, but we thought we would give it a chance in spite of what we had heard. Unfortunately, our experience today confirms the poor quality of service and mediocre food that others have mentioned in previous reviews. We arrived at Sonic hoping to enjoy a quick Sunday lunch for our family of 7. There was no line in the drive-thru and no cars parked in the stalls for "dine-in" service. After placing our order at 11:12, we were warned that it would take 12 minutes for our order to be completed. No problem. After 20 minutes of waiting, we began to wonder why our food had not yet been brought out. Things happen, we waited a little while longer. After 25 mins had passed, the screen indicated that our food was ready and would be out soon. When we finally called to ask when our food would be out, we were told it was "on it's way" they just needed a few more minutes. Our food finally came out...we had waited for more than 30 minutes! As we began to unpack our food, we noticed a few more issues- there were no napkins in any of the bags, we were given fries instead of tator tots, the fries we were given were incredibly stale and several items in our order were no longer hot. Because of the extreme length of time it had taken to get our order in the first place, we just decided to deal with what we had been given. When we mentioned to the employee bringing our food out that the service had been painfully slow, he said that the female employee who had taken our order was working alone when we first arrived. She wasn't able to do everything by herself and that was the reason it took so long. Why in the world does management allow a single employee to cover the lunch service alone on a weekend? The slow service, mistakes in our order and lack of attention to detail were disappointing and frustrating. We were offered no apology for the delay, only excuses. What a waste of $40. Not sure who management is but they need proper training in order to keep their team motivated. I decided to order through the stall since the drive thru is slow. The young guy took my order like he was forced to be there, I had to repeat my order 3 times (I get it, you're probably new) and he still managed to miss some items when he delivered it to my car. I waited over 7 minutes for a shake he forgot to make and when I walked up to the employee entrance door an even younger guy handed me my shake without even apologizing. My experience here is always great when it comes to their slushies and shakes but when it comes to their food service, it isn't the most accurate because I ordered within the app which is already enough and asked for the Double Sonic Cheeseburger with no onions and I paid extra for bacon and all I got was the default burger itself with onions and no bacon. I could've at least been advised if there was no bacon so I can at least get an extra add on to my drink instead but that would be my only complaint but the drinks themselves are always good here and those never disappoint. read more

I ordered online, I wanted to try the New Bacon Cheese Steak Sandwich. When I got there the attendant told me that they were out of steak and he asked me if I wanted something else from the menu. I told him that I just wanted a refund back. Well the refund was NEVER put back to the account !!! I figured okay I will give it a few days and maybe I will see it back in there but NOTHING!!! Look I get it... it's New Year's Day and y'all wanna chill, but it's a slow day and things should be a little easier on slow days right? No one in the drive-through in front of us and no one in the drive-through behind us the entire time. I came for onion rings but they ran out at 2 pm somehow, no big deal. I had 2 cheeseburgers, fries, jalapeño poppers and a drink, not very complicated but I didn't receive the poppers and my burger buns looked like they were sat on. I'd give this place 0 no stars if I could. This location has the absolute worst service, come here if you have an extra 2 hours of your day to get a drink. I honestly don't understand how they can be so slow when they typically have 2-3 cars in the drive through at a time. I'm from out of town but work in god forsaken town of Dinuba, I rather drive 30 minutes out of my way to go get something to eat in Visalia or Fresno because it'd probably be faster than coming here. This seems to be EVERYONE'S complaint, and they're right! The wait here is RIDICULOUS! I ordered 4 regular slushees through their mobile app, and it took them almost 40 minutes to get them to me! What a waste of my time! I was better off going across the street to circle K and getting a slushee there. Drive thru was zooming though, so it made no sense! Would have gone through drive thru, but stupid mobile app doesn't give you the option. Prioritize drive thru much? Feel like I should be compensated for the time I wasted waiting that long for 2 limeade slushees, 1 raspberry lemonade, and 1 cherry. Don't think that takes 40 minutes to round up. Shame. read more

I don't know what's more sad about this Sonic Drive-In, the food or the employees. Every time I've gone it seems that the employees are just done with life; which is understandable in fast food. But it's just weird seeing a lot of employees that just seem miserable. The food is usually decent, but I've also gotten a lot of gross or watery drinks. Another down side is they take FOREVER. Most Sonic Drive-In locations are a little slow because they're cooking the food fresh, but this one is ridiculous. I've sat in line for over 30 minutes at this location with only one person in front of me, only to see them get handed 2 drinks and that's it. It's very frustrating. If you're really craving Sonic then go for it, but don't be surprised if you're disappointed. read more

If you want to wait in line for 25-30 minutes just to get your order wrong then this is the place. The guy who took our order had no clue what he was doing. When we got to the window he repeated the order correctly. But when we he gave us the receipt it was wrong. By the time they came back to the window, we had waited way to long for them to change the order. When a different guy gave us our food, he thought we had all ready been given our drink, which we hadn't. So we had to wait even longer for him to go and make it. At least he apologized for the wait. After everything, when we got home the bacon on one of our sandwiches was burnt and inedible! Because the the guy messed up on our order the only thing in the sandwich was the bacon! Arrived at 7:45 pm. Pushed the button outside three times over a few minutes. No response. Went and asked why know one was responding. They said only 2 monitors worked. They were more interested in scrubbing the floor. The staff were rude and short. Not very well trained. We proceeded to the drive thru. 4 cars took 15 minutes. Sat in the drive thru line for 20 mins before I left. I didn't even get to place my order. I called there number while I was in line waiting to see what the hold up was. When I asked they hung up on me like it was just another day for them. I'm not happy, you wouldn't be either. They either need to hire new staff or just close this location and move it to Reedley. Extremely poor service! I waited at the drive through speaker, honked my horn after waiting for a goof four minutes, after the car behind me left I drove up to the window, the place looked shut down but I knocked on the window, a rude young lady appeared. I asked if they were open and she curtly replied that the speaker wasn't working and it wasn't her fault. I placed my order, and considered if I should tell her to place a sign at the speaker to pull up to the window, that was before I got even ruder service when she handed me my food. I looked inside and saw only one salt and asked for a couple more. She again, rudely said it was in the bag, I said I see one packet but I like a lot of salt and could I please get a couple more, she came back with both her hands full of packets and literally shoved them to me. I left shaking my head and wondering what her problem was, I didn't eat the tots I ordered, I didn't trust them and I won't be back! If I could give this place zero stars I would, I just went 30 minutes ago to order a meal for wife, I order the ultimate chicken sandwich meal, to which they told me it would take around 8 minutes to cook, to which I replied that was fine, got my meal, got home and my wife took one bite and she spit it right out, the chicken was undercook/raw!!! The speed of service at this location sucks. I've ordered drinks and left without my order because I refuse to wait over 15min for 2 slushies. They are usually pretty good in drive thru and will come out to help other cars whose orders are ready but they still take way too long. They get one star for consistency. Consistently slow service in spite of having a ton of people working here standing around. Most sonics I go to will bring your order out to you if you're behind someone and your order is ready. Not this one. Every time I visit here I feel as though it's the persons first time working there. No one seems to know what they're doing. Sonic food is notoriously gross and fake. So I don't judge them on that. Avoid at all costs. They take forever to bring your food out to your car. Sometimes I just go there to order a simple milkshake and even that takes ten minutes to deliver. Both the drive in and drive thru experiences are slow, be prepared to spend at least 20 minutes waiting for 'fast food'. The food itself isn't spectacular, but neither is it appalling. I go here often for drinks and ice cream or shakes but very rarely for actual food. When I order food from sonic I use the app, given that it's "faster" and the drinks are half off all day. Well needless to say they got our order wrong, the order took about an hour to get to the car and with a fussy nephew who has adhd I had to get off the car and shut it off to not waste gas with the air going and my nephew wanting to eat already. On another occasion I came just for drinks, they got it wrong too, but the funny and gross part is your employee forgot that his speaker was still on and mentioned to his co worker how his stomach did not feel good and how he was going to "take a piss" later we see an employee run to the restroom and his mic was still on and once back still with his mic on he admitted to his co worker that he had diarrhea and it must of been something he ate. That was traumatizing to the whole car and the kids I had in my car. Then we got to meet the mystery runner with our drinks who looked flushed after he realized his mic was still on our stall. As he cussed and powered off he gave us our drinks and we were pretty grossed out so we went home and drank our drinks after forgetting what we all herd. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would, ordered my dessert, waited for half an hour for 2 items, asked them for the hold up and they said "your order is on its way out" waited another half hour before going to the drive-thru And they say "we thought you left, please wait a minute" then left me in the drive thru for another 10 minutes and still didn't give us our order.
