Here's a type of place that I didn't think I would miss outside of a big city…read more.. The now standard froyo store with the buy by weight froyo. It's $0.45 per ounce here, which isn't a bad price. What blew me away were 2 things: 1 - It was uber clean. I'm not used to froyo places not being sticky and having sprinkles and toppings strewn about... 2 - The flavors... sure they aren't natural, but Salted Caramel Popcorn was truly created by the devil. Take froyo and make it taste like caramel popcorn? That's just an evil design.... I couldn't get enough of it. The other flavors: mint, cake batter, and root beer float were also great, but were seriously trumped by caramel corn... I've just never had it before and was waaaaay too blown away by it. If you're looking for a decent dessert place in the Baton Rouge area, you should go there...

Which is saying a little, because there is so much to choose from! There are regular house made popsicles, milk based popsicles, these run the range from the ordinary to the extraordinary, co raining fruit, sprinkles, etc! They aren't just good, they are also pretty to look at. The menu also includes lots of cool and unique offerings that I will hopefully get around to trying. But for me the star was the freshly homemade ice creams! We had two very particular young ones with us, and they both devoured their vanilla and Reese's flavors! The hubby had a banana split, which he enjoyed immensely! I am not a big ice cream person. Normally don't eat it but maybe once a year. But I got a sample of the Pecan. Needless to say I got a scoop and are every single drop of it!! For me, that's unheard of! Also, this was a HUGE one scoop of ice cream!! It was so creamy and delicious! You could taste the that it was freshly made without a bunch of chemicals etc like store bought brands. And I cannot fail to mention the really neat color changing spoons!! I think I liked them even more than the kids! lol! Add all of this to a convenient locate with a fun cool vibe, it's a total WIN!!! Highly Recommended!!
