You have to try the potato babies appetizer. It's $5.50 as I post this and you get A LOT of potato wedges. The server brought 2 cups of ranch because there were two of us there. That's a very subtle and very nice touch to customer service. The food was excellent of courses, as were the desserts. T had the first scoop of banana pudding for the day and I had the chocolate fries pie with ice cream. I'm only a little upset we didn't purchase one of the brownies or a slice of pecan pie they had sitting on the bar. Both looked really, really good.

We got the 3 meat 2 side meal : catfish, ribs and fried shrimp 2 sides fries and potato salad. Catfish was delicious with the fresh squeezed lemon I love to add The ribs no flavor, dry, was disappointed My husband didn't complain or brag about the shrimp Potato salad, man I was so disappointed. Definitely a taste I've never experienced, especially in potato salad The fries were delicious We decided to stop again for more catfish on our way headed back home after the wedding. 2nd time experience we got the deluxe catfish and doubled the fries Only complaint was they were out of lemons. Bar tender wasn't friendly or welcoming.

The Brown Sugartini was sweet, with a delicious, subtle molasses flavor. The alcohol was nicely balanced. The Smoked Chicken was delicious; it was smoky and tender, with a hint of spice. It was a sweet cornbread but not too sweet, the side of sun-dried tomato butter elevated it to something more special than regular cornbread. The gumbo was, frankly, not good at all. It was watery and lacked any discernible flavor, along with the rice being undercooked and still a bit crunchy. This was very disappointing as all the other dishes ordered by my friends were tasty. Our server was excellent and attentive despite us being a large party.

Sonic in Mayflower can find a way. I noticed upon checking my order that it looked like there was only tomatoes and mayo on my sandwich and then I saw a little bacon. I do that every time before I leave because I've had food left out of my order or my food not coming as ordered at this same establishment. When I got home I noticed I had barely a full slice of bacon and some bacon crumbles. What a let down when the menu picture looked so good. Don't eat here. Drinks are fine. Maybe even ice cream but maybe not because I had a pickle in my ice cream once. My child also got a burger from here once that had a sausage patty instead of a hamburger. Another time my child had a corn dog that was fried so much the hot dog was hard and inedible. Yet another time my daughter had a pretzel stick that a fly stuck to it. Why do I keep going back you say? Mayflower is a small town and there's limited options when it's been a long day and you just don't want to cook. The carhops are always pleasant though and I really think the food is going to match but alas it never does. The other establishments also just as bad. Moral of the story don't frequent this Sonic except for drinks and maybe ice cream unless disappointment is what you're looking for.

I got a Double Rally Burger, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Chili Dog, 2- Fish Sandwiches, Garlic Parmesan Loaded Fries, three drinks, and 2 - Strawberry cones in a cup. We were in the line ordering for like forever and when we were done, told to wait at a red cone. Yeah, there was no cone. There were two red poles in two different locations so we just stopped at the first one furthest from the window. The window, there was no one in there. It took a few minutes and all of a sudden a girl showed up and walked inside. Took here a little while before she put on her headset. She started to dish out the food and it seemed like everything was there. The bags were so stuffed that it was hard to tell what was what or take anything out to see. We got back to the house and started to separate the orders. My Rally burger had mayo on it though I asked to not have it on there. I really do not eat that stuff so I ended up having to take a paper towel and wiping it off, adding mustard to it. I heard the fish was good but it was not. Popeye's fish sandwich is so much better. Fries were overly seasoned and a bit hard. The Garlic Parmesan fries had bacon on it though I asked for it not to as I don't eat pork. I had to give them away and that was the one thing I was excited about. The strawberry ice cream was like none other I've ever seen. It was not a bright pink kike you get anywhere else, it was a brick red, clown nose red. It was weird. The drinks were even off. We initially wanted to go to the Chinese place across the street but settled with Rally's. I will never go back there, it was a huge disappointment.
