I have always found this to be a solid and consistent car wash place. If there's ever a line to pull into the wash, it always moves rather quickly. One time, they forgot to vacuum one side of the backseat (where a huge backpack was laying) and when I brought it up to their attention, they had no problem taking care of it. Big comfy waiting room! Sparkling bathrooms. Almost seems like you're at a rest stop. It's easy in and out. They put out cones on Peninsula Blvd. to guide you in, helping to avoid unpleasantries with the flow of traffic on the road. The busier it is, the more cones are out. They utilize a lot across the side street opposite the exit area, for an overflow area to do the interior glass, wipe down and tire treatments. These guys are thieves. I rolled in to get an oil change for my CX-5. I'm figuring $ 60.00. Charge $ 97.75 !!!! I do some simple math. on the higher side retail, $ 5.00/quart of synthetic oil. x 5 qts (maybe 4) $ 25.00. The filter, $ 5.00. $ 30.00 in materials. Changed oil in what, 10 minutes? For some reason I'm always disappointed when I splurge on upgraded car washes. This time I spent $30 and the dudes didn't wash the inside of my front windshield or rear window. I went to this place a several times in the pass. Recently I went to have my car oil service done and I was very disappointed... they don't take care of your car than they used to. They don't service the tires, the coolant and the windshield washer fluid. When I asked why they didn't service the tires they reply that a sensor was faulty .. but I serviste at the gas station and was good. read more

I came in for an oil change on Saturday morning and paid about $50 for a synthetic blend oil change. There was no wait and it took just under 15 minutes, and they offer a free car wash with any oil change! The service was fast and efficient and the car wash was just as fast! ok I gave this pace only 3 stars because the service was good but one of the ones that wash and dry the car stole my long Iphone car charger and tire gage (the thing that lets you know how much air is in the tires) right out of my front dashboard under the radio!!! i called to report it and I wasn't showed any sympathy all the front desk gal said was call tomorrow when the boss is here!! she never said she was sorry!! Had my car washed-paid almost twenty dollars for nothing. First they vaccumed half-washed one mat and then put it through the wash with water no soap and dried some of it. I went late afternoon and it was getting dark so never realized it till the next day or two. This business used to be so good-so perfect-but now needs to revamp or do the customers a favor and close down so we can wait for it to rain and have the wash for free. read more

I came here because of the quality and quantity of the reviews. My experience did not leave me happy. I SPECIFICALLY told the entry staff member twice - possibly three times when I drove my car in that I did not want armor all in the interior. I know he acknowledged me, because he said "ok, so just wipe it off, no armor all" and wrote up my receipt. He was friendly. I paid and left to get food because I was told it would be about an hour. I came back and the interior was lathered in armor all and I was really upset, but the guy who was doing the final detail didn't really speak English so I had to gesture with my hands that I wanted it removed. I got a rag of my own and he helped me take some of it off, but I ended up going home and cleaning the interior with soap and water to get all the stuff off that I never wanted in the first place. It wouldn't be such a big deal if it were something minor like missed spots like some of the other reviews have noted, but I spent $42 (after tax) plus a tip and ended up doing half the work at home. Bottom line: there's a failure in the communication chain here. Management needs to give the cleaning staff walkie talkies, or have them write in erasable glass chalk what the customer requests, by paper or computer, to have it communicated down the line somehow. Also, for anyone curious this is a partial machine / automated wash. read more

Would have given 5 stars but the black cashier woman was super rude. I asked her to give me change for a $20 to give the guys who washed my car a tip, she acted like I asked her to donate her kidney. Sorry fellas, next time no tip and you can thank the front desk lady with the braids. Other than that the facility is clean. As far as the oil change it was very well done. I think they need a better way if you are coming from Peninsula Blvd to get into the building. The cashier was very friendly and very nicely informative. The car wash was ok could be better. They missed spots inside of car and that was the only issue. I brought my car here for an inspection. After paying the mechanic, he said to drive it 30 miles and come back to pass it so I did and he told me to drive another 50 miles so I did the next day at which point he said I needed my emission fluids changed. I had this done a few months ago but I needed my inspection to pass so I paid $100 and waited 2 hours. He then told me I would have to drive another 80 miles. 2 days later I drove over 100 miles in one day, came back and he told me there's nothing he could do for me. My husband always goes to Sonic for an oil change or to get his car washed. He's always raving about how much he likes this place, so I decided to give it a try. We brought my car in to be detailed inside & out ($165). We left the car and went out to run errands. A few hours later we get a call that the car is ready. 30 mins later, another call. "Your car is ready". We get to Sonic & it's obvious that the car is NOT READY!! It was still pretty dirty inside & out. It looked like they just ran it through the car wash and just greased it up a lil. There was still garbage under the seats/ the floor was soaking wet/ and they ripped the seat. They young man in charge tried to convince us that the car IS ready & the seat was already ripped when we dropped it off. When we showed him the obvious wet floor all he had to say was "oh sh*t". My husband had to get really upset & that's when the young man phoned the manager. As soon as the manager walked up and looked at the car he started apologizing saying "this is not the way Sonic does business & this car is not ready to go". He informed us that he's normally there to personally oversee the work being done but on that day he had to step out and it's embarrassing that in his absence this is the kind of work being done. He asked us to leave the car overnight and he would see to it that the car gets cleaned in the right way. He actually pointed out other areas that we missed that were still very dirty. The following morning just like he said, the car was cleaned and ready. The car was sparkling. I hate that it wasn't done properly in the first place. It was a bit of an inconvenience to leave the car overnight. I appreciate the manager for stepping in and rectifying the matter. He's the reason for even giving 3 stars. I could tell that he cares about the customers and the kind of work that his name is attached to. He even admitted to us that Sonic did in fact rip the seat and applied a $25 discount at the end. read more

I worked at a car wash when I was in high school and have some experience with detail work and I could not find anything that they missed. Great car wash. Have been here many times. They are decently priced, of course they always try to upsell but every place does. They have the best thing ever. When they vacuum your car, included in the approx $12 price, they also have a blower thing. So the guys work with two hands, one with compressed air pushing all your crap from the cracks inside your car, the other one vacuums it all up. So simple, yet so important! I haven't seen this anywhere else. So that gummy bear stuck between the cushions for the last 8 months, gone! Place is clean, has a nice bathroom, good variety of edible stuffs also. read more

Been coming here for years. Went to have my usual oil change done and all the signs in the work bay say $34.99 plus the extra charge for extra oil my minivan takes which I knew about already. When I went to pay the cashier told me the price was $39.99 plus the extras. I told her all the signs hanging up say $34.99. She said the prices went up January 1st, (but here it is February 27th). I told her I should be charged the price posted, but wouldn't accommodate me. You would figure they would change the posted prices within a reasonable amount of time. As far as service, I can't complain. I ask for an oil change and that's what I get. They never try to upsell you like other places. You also get a full service car wash which they do an excellent job at. Anyone with kids knows how messy the inside of the minivans can get. Inside and out was spotless and smelled nice. read more

I Just paid $24.99 for the worse car wash. I never went here before and Jet down the block was closed, so I said lets give Sonic a try. Worst mistake ever. I have rubber floor mats and they washed them, but did not dry them, so they turned to ice when it's 12 degrees outside. The super wash was supposed to come with armor all, which I didn't get. The truck still had Ice from the snow on my running board and the truck wash not dry at all. By the way they cleaned the truck with dirty rags. They did have 5 people cleaning the car in the garage. I came in for a detail (interior & exterior) last minute due to an incident in my car. I was told to come back for the car later when they called me for it. Gave them another shot, seems they've made some changes for the better. Pulled my weather tech mats out and power washed them, for free.. Vacuum service got everything, and the clean up/drier guys really went out of their way to make sure all the windows were perfect. This is one of the worst car wash places I have ever been to in my life. The workers cleaning my car broke my rear view mirror and said they are not responsible and it was already broken. I have been washing my car on a weekly basis and have never had this problem. The mirror was never broken or had any issues. The manager and workers are so irresponsible. I guess it's lucky because it didn't land on you. I needed my car cleaned so I went to check this place out. This car wash offers a multitude of service, from Oil Changes to Alignments and full detailing. It's not set up like a traditional car wash. Enter the car wash is off on a side road and picking your car up is across the street on the other side of the building. It wasn't the best car wash I've been to but it was the most practical as far as cost is concerned. They are not expensive and when something is cheap it's not always good. But I was happy enough to use them again in the future. I just wish they did a better wipe down because I had water marks on my car after the was. Being inexpensive doesn't mean you cut corners on good service. If that was the case then I shouldn't have tip. read more
