I discussed my 9 year old doing a self swab for strep due to him being combative when other people swabbing him and the location being 30-45 minutes from my home. (Closest immediate care) they let me know it was fine and they've done them in the past. When my son and I arrived we were told they didn't do this and gas lit by the nursing staff. "We've never done this before" I've been to this establishment on 5-6 different occasions and they have allowed my son to self administer his swab. They are old my son it wasn't a big deal and scared him. This establishment isn't autism friendly and if you have any children on the spectrum I don't recommend bringing them here at all.

When I spoke to the office manager Wendy about it, she backed up the nurse and didn't seem to mind what kind of poor attitude the staff has. Reading through other reviews made me realize I'm not the only parent that has been talked to this way and dismissed by the office manager. The doctors are good, but they aren't aware of how their nurses and office clerks are to their clients. Like many others, I'm pulling my kid out of Children and Teens Medical Center. To be immediately lectured over the phone with a condescending tone when I asked for a second option to getting my kid treatment was the final straw. Wendy Lembke doesn't care how her staff talks to anyone. It's all about money. Don't bring your kid here.

I appreciate the direct and frank way Dr. Lesser and I can speak to one another. Sometimes in a very humorous, epitaph-filled way. He and his staff really listen to me, don't rush me, and make it as pleasant and hassle-free as possible. He's older like me so he "gets" a guy. But, I took my fiancee to see him and they hit it off too. Seriously, how many couples do that and afterwards feel like it was fun? While he is my doctor, I feel like he's a friend and trusted confidant. He doesn't judge and doesn't force. That's the kind of doctor for me.

I told her truthfully if I do it is for post nasal drip or congestion. I don't cough much, but who with allergies and asthma never coughs. Result: they want another covid test. Someone would have to lie in their answer. Everyone coughs sometime. I can't get a covid test every time I want to see them. I have had dozens for other reasons, never once positive. When my husband had a light case, he did. We assumed I had it too, but that was months ago. It took 2 weeks to get his results. I have to change doctors now because I'm not getting regular covid tests for coughing once or so a day during allergy season and being asthmatic. I gave 4 stars because the doctor is good, and it should be 5, but I won't be forced to have covid tests when I don't have the symptoms.

Long story short, I just saw another ENT today and was diagnosed with a sinus infection. Dr Musgrave totally missed it. And the medications he prescribed were inappropriate for a sinus infection. When we arrived, we had a bit of a challenge. We showed up at 8:50 AM, 10-minutes before our appointment. A little after 9, they opened the door and said our appointment was at 10. We showed them the confirmation, but they hadn't yet. About 10-minutes went by before they let us in. So, confusion about the time was an issue but they apologized and rectified it within 10-minutes. So, they did make it up, but it did cost them a point. The tests were painless, of course, and took a few minutes. THE VERY NEXT DAY we had our results. We've taken a number of these tests since they were available and most took longer. Overall, it was a good experience. I can't speak at all to their other services, but I think they do a nice job with their COVID tests.
