TLDR: Definitely worth it. So much fun!!!…read more This place is SO MUCH FUN! We went there around midsummer time, which is a magical time of year in the Nordic countries because it never fully gets dark. We were in Stockholm visiting and just kind of winging it with plans for the evening. We were on a water taxi and saw Gruna Lund in the distance- the crazy swing ride caught our eye and we knew we had to go. We got to Gruna Lund around 7PM so still full daylight. Since we got there only a few hours before closing time, we were offered 50% off on our tickets plus the ride pass included with entry. It was still early enough in the summer that Stockholm was not yet flooded with tourists and it was a pretty cold day so the park was not very crowded. It was the best part of my trip to Stockholm. The rides are actually insane. I'm a roller coaster junkie and this place blows any US park away!

After spending six hours at this 19th century amusement park, here's our experience. 1) Admission: Buy tickets online. It's cheaper than onsite. For passes and unlimited rides with three fast passes, it was around $50 USD a ticket. If you can, go on a Monday, their least busy day. There was no line to get in and the longest wait we had for a ride was 30 minutes. 2) Rides: It's a small amusement park with a mix of rides for younger and older kids. The Monster roller coaster and the drop rides were the most thrilling. However, our nine-year-old loved the K-Pop bumper cars, the high swings, and the fun house. The haunted house was too scary for her. 3) Games: We paid $20 USD for five blocks of one of the spin games and won a giant canister of Pringles. If you win the first go, it's worth it. 4) Space: It's small, but very manageable. There are plenty of food options from sushi to hot dogs. They also have clean restrooms.
