Cambria City Flowers - Wedding bouquets : what I asked for vs what I got

Cambria City Flowers

I stopped in for a quick bouquet to take with me to an event. I'm sorry I didn't get the persons…read morename who helped me but it was a friendly experience! I was running on no sleep and I swear she repeated herself 5 times but remained so sweet & helpful. The bouquet is beautiful and I will be stopping in again. Thank you so much!! They also have other items that you can pair with your flowers.

I am writing to share my disappointing experience with CCF regarding wedding florals. There were…read moreseveral issues that were never resolved. Issue 1: Bouquets In my initial email on 5/19/23 I provided photos of bouquets featuring a variety of white flowers with greenery. During our in-person meeting on 11/17/23 at 11:00 AM, I brought additional photos. Although two of these photos showed bouquets with roses, we ultimately agreed to include a variety of flowers, specifically tulips + "spring flowers" to add texture/depth to the bouquets. Chad asked me to email him the new inspiration photo. It was sent on 11/17/23, at 11:46 AM at the end of the in person meeting while still at the shop. I also followed up with another photo on 12/16/23. However, Chad delivered bouquets composed solely of roses, which did not reflect our agreed-upon vision. Issue 2: Aisle Runners We requested floral aisle runners featuring white roses for the ceremony but received only greenery in the vases we provided. This request was discussed in person with Chad and my husband. Issue 3: Welcome Sign I requested a floral arrangement for the welcome sign but received only greenery. This was not what we had discussed/agreed upon. Despite these discrepancies, the most troubling aspect was the customer service we received post-wedding. I reached out to Chad via email on 6/26/24 to address these issues. My email was polite and professional, as follows: "I hope this email finds you well. I am reaching out about some issues with the floral arrangements provided for my wedding on May 11, 2024, at The Willow. Before I get into the details of everything, I did want to say that I thought you were a very kind, professional person, and I enjoyed our interactions. I have wanted to send this email sooner, but never had the courage to do so. After receiving the rest of our wedding photos, it was the final push I needed to reach out." I then detailed the issues, providing photo evidence and dated emails showing what we had requested. I concluded with: "Since this was a significant investment, I felt it was important for you to know this. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your response." After a week without a response, I resent the email, repeating this process weekly for 3 weeks. After 25 days with no reply, I sent one final follow-up, stating: "I've sent 3 emails in the last 3 weeks about my wedding flowers. I wanted to give you one more chance to make this right, or at least respond, before I post a review on social media and your Google page. I would greatly appreciate your response via email, but if not, I can stop by the store to discuss this in person if that is preferred." The next day, I finally received a response from Chad. He stated: "We received your three emails dated 6/26/24, 7/3/24, and 7/16/24. Given that you took 46 days to initially reach out to us on June 26, 2024, and never requested a reply within a specific timeframe in that email or any of the subsequent emails, we believed that we would be given the courtesy of at least the same time span of 46 days to reply. Although we have drafted replies to each of your assertions, along with factual evidence supporting those responses, we will not be communicating with you via email or meeting with you in person due to the content of your last email dated 7/21/24. Threatening our company's reputation and publicly defaming our character unless we responded to you (without a specific timeframe requested) and/or 'made it right' (implying a monetary refund) has irrevocably changed the dynamic of this interaction. You will be receiving a certified letter in the mail. Please allow at least two weeks for its arrival." He then proceeded to have a lawyer send me a cease and desist letter, which contained errors in my name and address. It stated that no refund would be given. It also included photocopies of 2 photos of rose bouquets that I had given to Chad during our in-person meeting. However, as stated above, we ultimately agreed to include a variety of flowers, including tulips, to add texture + depth to the bouquets. I sent a confirmation photo of our revised inspiration on 11/17/23, at 11:46 AM while still at the shop + followed up with another photo on 12/16/23. If you review my emails to Chad, you will see that I never requested refund. They accused me of threatening their company's reputation + defaming their character. However, leaving an honest review does not constitute defamation. It is my right to do so. I have factual evidence + dated emails to prove that I did not receive what I requested from Chad. His response showed no effort to work with me on addressing the issues mentioned above. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Cambria City Flowers for any floral needs. Their failure to deliver the agreed-upon arrangements + their handling of the situation reflect poorly on their commitment to customer service + satisfaction.
