I phoned the shop and spoke to Stuart the owner and explained what I needed ,the full monty white roses and lillies ...well they" knocked it out of the park "the flowers were totally awesome .in fact the lady in question has told me that they are the nicest flowers that she has ever received.....say no more. Sue Makin Flowers is a great little florist shop in Wallasey Village. They carry the usual items…read moreyou'll find in most florists including, of course, fresh flowers as well as gift wrap and tissue paper, and greeting cards. I also noticed this shop carries some unique gift items, such as handmade papier-mâché sculptures of houses and boats. They sound pathetic, but they look a lot better than they sound which is why I took a picture! Sue seems very friendly and I spoke with her briefly while I had a gander around the shop. There is a Web site, but it seems under construction, and there is not much up. If you want more info. Lovely selection of flowers and low prices, and arrangements in store which were stunning. The business was recommended to me as a wedding florist by several of my friends, and they didn't disappoint, Pauline & Andrea were amazing throughout!! I booked a wedding consultation initially with Pauline for my wedding flowers and to share some ideas, she made me feel so relaxed and definately took the stress out of the process, offering fantastic and well informed expert advice. I never once felt pressured, sadly the same could not be said for some of the other florists with whom I had consulted with. After finally agreeing on my flowers and various things, I was kept in touch with throughout the process which certainly helped ease the nerves and worry. The 'big day' arrived and my flowers were presented to me at the hotel and as promised, the venue was fully dressed - I never once had any concerns, and the flowers just were simply stunning so much so it brought me to tears; the fact I had so many comments about them during the day confirmed that I had made the right decision in going to Bromborough Flowers.
