This is not something that I normally do but I felt compelled to write a review about the Soma shop at Oxmoor mall and in particular the help I received from Lisa Nilli (I may have spelled that wrong). I have been shopping a long time on-line and other stores locally but to no avail and no real help for a good bra that I needed desperately. Finding a bra to fit my figure is not easy. When I arrived, Lisa measured me and spent literally an hour running back and forth to the dressing room helping me make sure the fit was right. I ended up with 2 beautiful bras. I haven't had this kind of service in years. I seriously would have never found these perfectly fitting bras without her. She was so sweet and truly went the extra mile. Review is not for this particular store location (however I have purchased here), but for the company SOMA. I am disappointed that two reps I spoke to via their customer service number and live chat were not willing to back their product. In February 2025, I spent over $600 on bras. Five months later, a strap on one breaks. I have been wearing bras for 45 years, so know how to care for them. Their policy only covers issues within 60 days and maybe they will be willing to help you?? I am disappointed that I splurged and bought this SOMA much more expensive brand, but obviously lesser quality than the Vanity Fair I have worn for years. I will definitely be going back to purchase my tried and true brand of Vanity Fair. read more

The services here is always amazing... I purchased five bras when they had their $25 bra sale a few months back. But unfortunately I bought them to big. Today I went into the Store to get the correct size... I was instantly approached by Kara, who has help me in the past. She does an amazing job with customer service and always making sure that you're happy with your purchases. She makes sure she gives you plenty of options to choose from. Then I received great service from both Sandy's that work there. Sandy C checked me out and made sure I was squared away. Sandy V has great customer service as well she assisted with pulling up my receipt since I didn't have a paper copy. read more

Pros: Same price as VS Comfortable Larger sizes Cons: The quality- and this is a deal breaker for me I have found that most of my bras from Soma do not last more than a couple months. I just can't do that. I can't spend $60 on a bra for it to tear up two months later even their 2 for $x are more than I want to spend for something cheaply made. And I take care of my bras. I have like 10 bras and 4 sport bras that I wear. I don't wear them multiple days in a row and they get hand washed and air dryed. Still, Soma bras stretched out in a month and by month 2-3 the underwire is coming out or the straps look like the photo below (both straps separated from the cup entirely). I would rather pay more for something that lasts. (Rigby and Peller is a great alternative. They are pricey but they sell up like size K cups!) However, if you're in a pinch and you need a bra for a well endowed woman, they have comfortable bras in bigger sizes. Just don't expect it to last. read more

Occasionally I need a pick me up. Something more than chocolate and coffee to pull me out of the frumpy mood that I sometimes get into. One of the quickest and best ways I have found to do this is to buy some pretty underclothing. It can not only do wonders for me, but those around me too! Soma products are quality, and some items like pretty nightclothing,sweats,t-shirts and sweaters can be worn in public too. The items are not inexpensive, unless you know my trick which is to shop the sale rack which are usually in the back of the store. Those items are at least 50% off, and during special sales may even be an additional 50% off. On a recent trip with my daughter we found bras which were normally $49 for a sale price of $9.99. You can beat that. read more

I may be spoiled. I think it is normal to return an item to a store with just the card on which you purchased the item. This is not the case at Soma. I went to return unused items and was offered a gift card. The card was 50% less than the purchased items. Okay, my fault for not keeping my receipt. I attempted to take a couple of minutes to determine if I had the receipt, while doing so the attendant printed the card and told me I could not have my items back. She excused herself, obviously annoyed and frustrated, and mumbled that she had others who needed assistance. I don't like leaving my number and email address at stores. I hate junk mail. The person behind me was able to look up their return using a phone number. The attendant made a nasty remark, directed towards me, "that's why you should sign up with your number'. I love the feel of the fabric in their clothing. The employees are also very helpful. I wish the store was bigger I was disappointed when they decreased the size of the store for the Teavana. The prices are not always cheap, but they do have great sales, especially on intimate apparel. You can also easily order things online. They also send coupons for your birthday. read more

It's a bra store, so if you're not looking for bras, you probably should't, or don't really need to shop here. It's a smaller store that packs a decent punch. There is a decent selection of styles and sizes. They have extended sizes (extended going up to just G or H....so there are plenty of ladies that this store still will NOT help). There are ladies to help you with fittings, and I was able to find some things that fit (TMI? Don't care, it's a bra store, what did you expect in a review of one). While I did get help from an associate, they seemed a little preoccupied with getting stuff in the store organized. I'll probably be giving the store another shot later, but for now, an a-ok store. I'd probably only give 3.5 stars, but since half stars are not an option, I'll round up as there was nothing super bad about my experience here. read more

I love that they carry such diverse styles and sizes! They are about the same price as bras from Victoria's secret but these are really high quality. The staff is very helpful and extremely understanding when helping you find the perfect fitting bra. I'll never buy bras from anywhere else! read more
