It is difficult to explain what it means to live in pain until you have actually experienced it…read more
After my accident, I was dealing with constant neck pain, low back pain, and shoulder pain. Things that used to be simple became exhausting. There were days when I genuinely wondered whether I would ever feel normal again.
Throughout my treatment, Dr. Charles Gruver, Dr. Joseph Enayati, and Brian Tong, NP treated me with an incredible amount of compassion, patience, and care. They listened to me, took my pain seriously, explained every step, and kept working with me until we found treatments that actually helped.
Over time, I underwent multiple injections, PRP procedures, and radiofrequency ablations. These are the kinds of treatments that can feel intimidating, but the entire team made every step feel so easy, organized, and reassuring. I always knew what to expect, I always felt cared for, and every procedure felt like another step toward getting a part of my life back.
And today, I can finally say something that once felt very far away: I am better.
That sentence means more to me than I can possibly put into words.
What makes LA Pain so special is that the care extends far beyond the providers. Josselyn and Natalie at the front desk were always warm, kind, and reassuring. The medical assistants were incredible and helped coordinate every part of my care, making sure I knew what was happening, what came next, and that nothing fell through the cracks.
When you are hurting for months and months, you become very aware of the difference between people who are simply doing their job and people who genuinely care.
The team at LA Pain genuinely cared.
To Dr. Gruver, Dr. Enayati, Brian, Josselyn, Natalie, every medical assistant who helped me along the way, and the entire LA Pain team: thank you for carrying me through one of the hardest periods of my life. Thank you for your patience, your kindness, your reassurance, and for making a process that could have felt overwhelming feel so much easier.
I went through a period where pain became part of my everyday life. Now, I finally feel like myself again.
You did not just treat my pain. You helped give me a part of my life back. I will never forget that.
