We were a victim of his construction fraud about 15 years ago, without going into details and there is a lot of details, he targets a lot of elderly people and people that are in dire need, he is also very dangerous. Every time we tried to get him prosecuted the prosecutors would not prosecute him because they said it was too hard to win the case, he finally screwed over the wrong person back in I think about 2012 and a savvy enough prosecutor finally took the challenge and he was prosecuted. I had tracked him after our construction fraud for a couple of years and I had gathered all kinds of information on people he had defrauded over the years that were just simply sent to civil court for judgments which he would never care about. I contacted people dating back 10 years prior to this either by going to their house or contacting them by phone gathering information and when there was finally a prosecutor willing to go after him I delivered a file of about 2 in thick to help with the prosecution. I was also there in the court when he was sentenced, he was sentenced on two separate charges adding up to a 20-years. He only had to serve a very short time but he is still under the suspended sentence. Maybe they can catch him and put him right back to where he belongs. This was in 2018 when he was sentenced and apparently he's still been out doing the same thing he. needs to be locked up permanently! All the people he has scammed in the money he has stolen, it's sickening

I initially hired him to complete crawlspace plumbing repairs, but the work was poorly done and below standard. He then convinced me to let him handle the remaining renovations to get my rental unit ready for rent. I paid him $1,000 upfront, but after several missed appointments and broken promises, he only completed about two hours of work. He later demanded an additional $600, which I reluctantly paid -- and after that, he stopped showing up altogether and never finished the job. Avoid this dip-shit at all costs. Unreliable, unprofessional, and took payment without completing the work. If you don't believe me, run a background check on Daniel Morris of Danville VA, over 100+ criminal charges.
