They painted the ground, the rocks, our flower beds, hose bibs, etc.. midway through the project they randomly told us they were no longer going to paint our back deck. When we asked them to be more conscientious and considerate of our property, we got a bunch of attitude and aggression from both the painters and their manager Dave. When we brought up our issues to the owner, Matthew, we got the same angry/aggressive response as if we were in the wrong for speaking up. I don't know too many companies that stay in business by bullying and gaslighting their customers, but these guys are certainly trying!

Do not let construction start until you have your approved design plans / drawings in hand and have personally inspected cabinets (and other elements) in-person prior to installation. 3. Check to insure that sub-contractors are licensed. 4. Be aware that YOU need to contact inspectors to inspect the work, Pelleco will not do that for you. 5. Safety items: Tile floors can contain cancer causing materials. You need to ensure your home is ventilated with an industrial fan during demolition. 6. A few other notes: A) Pelleco does not use a dumpster. Your home is the dumpster, until they can pick up the garbage. B) A portable outhouse will not be provided by Pelleco. C) You will have to inspect the work and notify Pelleco if something is done incorrectly or missed completely--there is very little inspection of work completed. D) Floors will not be leveled unless you specifically require that before the project begins. E. Workmanship requirements, as listed in ROC are unknown by the contractor and will not be managed to ensure a high-quality installation. F. Pelleco told me repeatedly that I expected perfection. I didn't expect perfection, but I did expect the work to be done correctly. I think anyone can see, from the attached photos, that this job was far from perfect. G. Expect to be asked for payment prior to the completion of each phase and the completion of the work overall. Don't fall for this as it will leave you with little leverage to ensure your job is completed and completed correctly. Our job was not completed and warranty items were left to me to repair. Just in case the contractor responds with "changes were made". Every change was done in writing and approved prior to installation. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. When we first moved into our new home in May 2022, we had purchased some storage racks to be…read more installed. We had a hard time finding someone to do this as there was a great demand for handymen. I found Brandon and he got back to us promptly and told us he would be able to do this work in about two days. Brandon came but was a bit late but had called ahead to let us know of his delay. He said the he and his assistant would be able to get both racks up in a few hours. They completed the work and it seemed fine. Two days ago, 8/31/2022, my wife and I heard a crash in the garage. I then discovered after going into our garage that the rack collapsed. After investigating the bracket that came out of the ceiling, Brandon didn't bolt the bracket through a stud but only drilled through the sheet rock in the ceiling. Luckily it didn't crash onto my wife's car as the front end is parked underneath the storage rack. The items on the rack shifted but nothing was damaged. Attempting to have Brandon fix his wrong, I called the number listed for him and his phone is no longer in service. Funny thing is that his website is still up and running. Weird. Don't trust this guy, he does horrible work.

We have had numerous problems in the past with the stucco holding up to the weather but this company used some newer products that we can have confidence in. The price was reasonable. The crew stayed till all the work was done and cleaned up well afterwards. They used painters drop clothes for all the work and also for the painting. Luis even stayed to do some repair work on our stucco mailbox structure and painted it free of charge. We have been given a 4 year warranty on the work!

We asked if the exterior of our home in the AZ room, which is not heated so it is not an interior room, was included in the quote. Jason never responded. 10/24/25 Jason sent over his Sherwin William rep so the rep and I could match the existing color of the home since we live in an HOA. I had the color names from the HOA Sherwin Williams book and showed it to rep. He confirmed those were the colors. Rep said he would give them to Jason. 10/27/25 Joseph and his crew showed up from B&M Painting to start our job. 10/29/25 Asked Jason to stop by our home to talk about the stucco walls in the Arizona room, the same one he never responded back about. I told him that we discussed it the day he walked around with me to write up a quote. Jason says I said no to painting the stucco in the AZ room/enclosed porch, which again has not heating and is not a sealed room. It even has vinyl window panes, not glass plus there are two thin aluminum doors. I told Jason I had told him about it. Jason starts to raise his voice and told us that we are trying to something for nothing; Jason said he has clients like us who try this all the time. Also told us that we are not contractors and he is. We are not painters but we are another type of contractor. Jason walked off and said he would NOT give us a quote. Because Jason walked off I could not show him that on the customer copy of the quote they provided me with was the email I sent with the quote asking about the exterior stucco in the AZ room. 10/30/25 Joseph and his crew were finishing our home and painted the front door the same color as the trim. Joseph said they did not have the front door color he asked if I had an old can of paint to match the front door. I told him that the Sherwin Williams rep had given the colors to Jason. He again asked me for the can of paint. I found the can of paint and he went to Sherwin Williams to match it. When Joseph's crew was done painting we walked the exterior together. Joseph tells me that the HOA might say something because the color of the house was not exact to the original color. I said, "Why?!" Joseph told me that the Sherwin Williams rep had dropped the ball so he had to take a strap off my house for the body color and another part near the a/c unit for the trim. So, if the HOA says our color is not the original color we will have to pay another company to paint it all again? We are done with B&M painting. Jason prides himself on communication but failed in our case, more than once.
