But a new off brand tube Amp with a new to the market brand name that no one has a clue of there build quality or if it will last for any length of time witha 12 inch single speaker will be around 500.00 so you learn to keep money put back and be ready for a deal and most people will spend thier intire life in the used market for all of the reasons listed above well that being said i had saved up a small nest egg and had a free day from work and chores and had seen most of the used equipment available in longview Tyler marshall and gladewater but a guy i knew had told me about some equipment he had seen available and that there were saverale tude amps in this pawn shop somewhere around here but he wouldnt tell me where man thats cold but anyway i knew i had seen everything in east texas pawn world except the one shop in white Oak texas so i did some digging came up with the no. Made a call and the man verified he had everything that guy I knew told me about and more so I headed rite down there to J&L and walked in told him who I was he showed me most everything except there was some in his storage he was extreamly helpful was understanding of the amount of time I needed to check all of this vintage equipment out told me when I could see the stuff from storage and it was there when he said it would be and I think eventually I bought every piece of vintage equipment he had well I think I mite have missed out on one piece or it may still be there waiting on me oh and he made corrections on the price of everything he could heck after that he's been a regular stop for anything I need that's bought better used and somethings I buy new it's just one of the friendliest places I've ever been. Oh and I think I forgot to mention that some of the very best tube guitar amps out there you can no longer buy them new intact some of the you haven't been able to buy new since the 50's and some since the sixty's and some since the 70's even more since the 80's and if you think that's crazy when you fall in love with guitars it gets really wild and there are some people that do the super search for guitar peddles and speaking of I do believe J&L's carries some of both just call him and ask and him and after this becomes available to read I'm gonna have to increase my no.
