So Soleiki in Grande Prairie doesn't honour their gift cards, just so you know. Don't be customers here. We came in with 2 $50 gift cards from a promotion they were running over Christmas. When we try to pay, they say the gift cards are worth just $10 per visit. We came because we had a free meal. And they wouldn't honour it. I've never seen anything like it. If you are giving $10 gift cards that say $10 and one per visit, great! Good deal. If you give a $50 gift card with no exclusions mentioned and then when we go to pay say it's worth $10 then you're reprehensible. Then after I snap a couple pics, the manager threatens to sue me if I post them and then starts to film me?!?! Who does this guy think he is? What a disappointment! Brought the whole family there for Mother's Day because they were advertising lobster! In the the picture was beautiful steamed lobsters! But that's not what you got! It was a pan of chopped up shells and mostly bodies which there's hardly any meat in them! The 2 claws I did manage to scavenge had no meat at all in them! Dont go here after 6-7 PM. This restaurant ran out of items that are available only at dinner time. We all paid 26 dollars for dinner but only received 3/4 of the food available. What should have happened is we should have been offered the lunch buffet price (17 dollars) for what was offered. Its not the customers fault that you were busy and couldnt keep up (it was Friday night). I realize every restaurant will have days like this but if your guests dont get the opportunity to be offered what is supposed to be available for dinner....then do the right thing and offer your customers the lunch buffet price. we tried the chinese buffet at soleilkis' grande prairie alberta, one week ago monday, very good and clean tasting food, the building very clean, the washrooms very clean, and the floors, very clean, i will remark on the waitress, older woman from quesnel, very very polite and she took the time to pour us more coffee and put the creams in our coffess, and to top off, her attitude, well, she changed the noise music to the bee gees for the time we were sitting for lunch, we shall go back there again the trip to gr pr, it cost a bit more, but well worth the dollars, just to sit back and stare out the table window, and patiently eat our food, with out the rush or other restaurants, i enjoyed the quesnel woman and glad it was her that took our table,,,,,, thankyou, quesnel,,,,, read more
