There is plenty of space in the shop for people to browse, try the shoes on and also walk around to check the comfort of the shoes. I think this is a lot better than some shoe stores where you barely have room to browse, let alone comfortably try on a pair. Always seems clean, although the smell of plastic in the shoes can sometimes be a little overpowering. The staff i've been served by have always been polite and fairly quick at serving, and i've never really noticed large queues even when shopping on a saturday.

Wynsor has been around for years and i think will stay around for more year to come …read more This shoe shop is massive and has massive aisles, they sell shoes for all occations for everyone and at low prices . The staff there are helpful and polite and are always at hand . Wynsors have there own big carpark and its can get busy the ques are never big as the staff are quick servers . The only problem is i think icould do with moving near to the other shops to gain more business and to make it alot easier for those who are shopping in hanley.

Broughton Shoe Warehouse always has lots of nice designs that fit the bill! Their shoes are modern, well made, extremely comfortable (most with cushioned soles) and, best of all, they are very cheap! You can usually pick up a pair for around £20-£30 and they'll last you for ages! As it's located on a retail park it's handy for parking outside too, which is a bonus! As shoes are so cheap I sometimes buy the same pair in a few different colour ways! You can never have too much comfort!!! :0)

The majority of the shop to the rear is separated into aisles of sizes, so all the shoes of the same size are all in one place. There are aisles for both men and women, but the female range is a lot more extensive. Prices are reduced because it is an outlet shop, but they are still fairly pricey. Nevertheless the CAT shoes I bought for work had a decent level of discount. The front of the store has more specific ranges of shoes from certain manufacturers like Loretta. You can also get a strong reuseable Pavers bag for just 30p!

The staff that work in this store are all women. This shop is very popular amongst people in Alfreton town, especially women, because you can get essential items for a very cheap price. They are not high fashion items so will no appeal to big brand lovers or hipsters.

The standard leg length in trousers is short and the waist sizes are different to the sizes you get in other high street shops. I always struggle to get my shoe size as they only have one of each style in my size, although its not an uncommon shoe size! The staff are generally friendly and helpful, but you are well out of luck if you want to pop in 5 minutes before the official closing time, as the door is likely at being locked!

The shoes which are usually branded with big names, copies of branded shoes at cheap prices or essentials are more than fairly priced and the quality is pretty good. It can be quite difficult to reach a pair of shoes if they are on the top shelf for example and you have to ask a member of staff to help you. The staff are really nice and helpful and all seem to be women. They also like a chat too. If you're looking for some cheap shoes or any shoes in general, i recommend looking in here, you will more than likely find something appealing to you.

There are only 2 changing rooms and so when it is busy it can be annoying if you have to wait for the changing room It can be difficult to walk around without knocking things off because everything is spaced so close together.

The staff are friendly, polite and helpful, and will take you to the area where items are if you enquire. They get regular deliveries and stock a broad range of sizes. The only downfall to this Peacocks is the shops size, as I know the range would be even better if floor space wasn't an issue.
