Over the years I have taken shoes to this man and he is very kind and his work is top-notch. A few years ago I was having an issue with one of my feet and he was so patient and added a lift to one shoe and padding to the other. After a hip replacement my feet self corrected and now I took an older pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes that had the soles worn out and the heel cracked. Picked them up same day and OMG... they look like brand new! Highly recommend!

The Ferragamos had a damaged heel and some cosmetic scuffs in the black leather, while the McQueens looked fine on the surface but had soles so worn down that water seeped in whenever it rained. Romy managed to fix both pairs so they look and function like new. I'm thrilled to have my two favorite boots back. It was absolutely worth the money: he repaired both of my shoes, which retail for several hundred dollars, at just a fraction of what it would have cost me to replace them new. Owner answered in Russian asking me why I didn't call him - as if the shop only opens when a customer calls - and why I didn't deposit my boots in a locked box at the entrance. I'm not about to leave my boots not knowing if they are repairable! I asked if the shop open now - was told to call back at ~2:30pm. I called at 2:42pm, didn't recognize the voice who answered, asked again if the shop is open - in English - and got yelled at for speaking English! Was told not to play games (!) and not to be rude (for speaking English!). Naturally, I hang up and will not place any orders with this so called business. PS.
