One of the other Bergen County golf courses...Paramus Golf Course is better. The course is fairly long almost 6500yrds long but it is flat with no elevation or fairway bunkers that come into play. They make up for this by making the stimp of the greens more difficult. Too fast and faster than a dry green on Poppy Ridge, our NCGA home course in CA. It screwed me up as it took me a front 9 to figure it out. So minus a star for that Cirque Du Soleil gimmick. Look me. Groundskeeper...I get on in regulation. I should not have to 3 putt more than I have too because the course is flat. Fairways were ok but definitely 2nd cut rough was dry and sun burnt on lots of parts of the course. Rough was also a tad longer than need be if not links style...freaking mow on a schedule please. Water on every hole is nice and ball cleaners are clean and filled with water so that is a plus...Also Bergen County...WTF is up with no logo'd gear at Paramus and Soldier Hill?!? Every course I have ever been to has shirts, hats, ball marks, etc...These two are the first without such items...Takes away from the fact that Paramus is a $$ area. Star off for that...I paid $90 to play and was willing to spend more. Up the pro-shop offerings...Seriously, the pro-shop looked like a fly by night car rental shop. Staff was nice though and regular who I beat was cool...BTW, play is slow compared to Paramus. Still I would recommend playing it but Soldier Hill would not make my location rotation.

Gets crowded and slow moving on the weekend. Course is in good shape this year.

So I found this indoor golf place less than a mile and a half away from my dad's place. It was nice, clean cozy and the staff friendly! I had a chance to meet the owner named Gary and he gave me the walk through. I decided to on his recommendation to play Bethpage since I am in the East Coast right! The bay is bigger than most indoor simulators which is really nice and the layout and comfort is top notch. The indoor temp was perfect as well! I played my round in less than an hour and shot a 93!!!!! I settled down toward the end but it was too late lol! 51 front and 42 back...I could have easily shot in the 80s. I almost wanted to play another round. My driver was wayyyy off today! The owner's father said it was A tough course, so I will take it! What can I say, I loved it! I can see myself coming here regularly during winter once I move back and what a convenience that it is close to home! Price is right and it was nice to see a bunch of regulars. It had a family kind of feel to it and that earns my business. So if you are 12 handicap golfer like myself (I blew it today), scratch golfer or just a hack, I urge you to take your swing down to Go Low Golf! I love finding cool places like this, that are truly gems!

The 18-hole miniature is dimly lit with a horror resemblance of night and gloom. While you are working on your putts, admire the neat Halloween decorations while listening to club music. It would have fit better into the scenery if only Halloween music was played, but the tunes are still enjoyable. Whether or not you are an experienced miniature golf does not bear any significance as the primary goal is to have a great time! In addition to the golf course, a variety of arcade machines and carnival style games are available. Although the graphics are detailed and entertaining, the cost per game is costly and the playing time does not last long. If you have an hourish to spare, I would highly recommend exploring this golf course. It is family oriented and geared for all age groups. As a bonus, there is an axe throwing range conveniently located next door if you need another hour of recreation. #monsterminigolf #halloween #paramusnj #monsterminigolfparamus
