I'll be moving to this area in a few months and was hoping to find my new lash studio. Unfortunately I'll have to keep looking. My first time to this location and I was not welcomed, shown where to put my purse, tech did not introduce herself, and barely spoke to me during the session. (Basically just "open" "close") I was not given a mirror, asked if I liked them, or anything like that at the end. She was also super rough brushing my lashes over and per, I almost had to tell her to stop. And on top of that, I've never had so many extensions just fall out so fast (Not my real lashes, just the extensions) not sure if it was the glue they used or the tech. But I follow the instructions for even longer than recommended after getting them done. I don't get my lashes wet or around steam for a minimum of 48 hours. I had been wanting extensions for THE LONGEST and was so scared to get them mainly because I have sensitive skin, but also because there are so many shady places out there that LOOK GOOD online, but you get there and you wish you never deiced to go there. I didn't want to end up with goopy lashes and an eye infection from Hell. I finally decided to bite the bullet and made an appointment, which was super easy. I communicated with Kaitlyn through Yelp messaging. She was super helpful and answered all my questions pretty quickly. Once I got to my appointment, I had a million questions for her because of all of my anxieties and concerns and she answered every one of them with a smile. She is so professional and has a great bedside manner. Conversation was super easy. I was at ease the whole time. I've had my extensions for 2 full days now and I've still been messaging her with questions and she is still being super nice, which is a plus! I love my lashes and I have nothing negative to say about SoLash'd. Highly recommended :-) I always have to add my bathroom bit. Since this is in an office building, there was no bathroom in her actual suite..but it was conveniently down the hall. It's your average office, multi-stalled bathroom. Highly recommend getting your lash services done at SoLash'd. I've been getting my lashes done since 2012 so it's been an addiction of mine since then. I received lash services in Chicago and San Diego. I recently moved to VA so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find an awesome lash technician that would exceed my expectations. And boy was I relieved when I stumbled across the yelp page/ and IG for SoLash'd. Been waiting since End of March to get my lashes done. Since covid I had to keep rescheduling my appointment. The best! I've previously had my lashes done at a couple of other highly-recommended salons that were...not so great. Or great only at first. I'm happy to say that--with 3 visits so far--SoLash'd is my home sweet home for lashes! WOW. McKenzie is the best. A complete professional, she is fully trained, highly competent, understands your preferences, and most of all, NICE. I'm so confident putting myself in her hands. Customer service is not great. Will not recommend because if you have to cancel there is a fee of 50% of the service no matter what. They are not friendly on the phone and do not try to help find a solution if it's not affordable. Overcharged and have provided services in the past to for myself that included eye lash extensions. While in the process of the eye lash extensions the glue was applied and then got directly into my right eye. This resulted in my eye being inflamed for a week and having eyesight problems and it was incredibly painful. The employee stated that this can happen and it's a risk you have to take for the service. No discounts and appointments are not great for people that work weekdays and need appointments on the weekend. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Where do I start? First off, I've been getting lashes for a LONG time. Back before they had all these diff styles and tricks and quite frankly short cuts. So I know the difference between someone putting in good solid work and then just glueing on some Amazon clusters and try to charge top dollar, meanwhile they fall out a week later. Kaitlyn does an amazing job! Best lashes I've ever had. She's super quick too. On top of the actual work, her customer service is even better. She's way more professional than anyone I've ever had. Never has rescheduled or been late to an appointment. I have always wanted to do lashes and recently she started doing classes and I took two with her- classic and volume/mega Volume. She has been so supportive and more helpful than any other classes I've looked into for over 2 years now. I am inspired by her drive, motivation, and professionalism. And she has a small child too! If you need bomb lashes and have not found someone who can achieve a beautiful set with amazing retention then go to Solashed. I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed! read more
