My husband and I had solar panels installed four years ago with a company which has now gone bust and the main component of my system had failed. We did extensive research and looked high and low for a solar company still in business to help us out and fix our array. All was explained very clearly and at our speed, all our questions answered fully and no over sell, enquired about extra panels on an outbuilding, was told it would not be cost effective, could quite easily have sold us those extra panels. The whole experience has been fantastic, right from the initial contact through to the end of the install. Everything was explained, from what they needed from us to what they would do, explained the feed in tariff and the export tariff, the guarantees, the difference in the panel types etc. They made notes of the things that we wanted them to do, like protecting the decking when the scaffold was put up to where the cable from the roof to the fuse box went. We have had a heck of a lot of hassle from an installation company that did not deliver! We contacted the equipment manufacturer and they put us in touch with their local partner Solarthem Uk based in Basildon. Quick as a flash our system was sorted. new warranty in place and an end to the grief caused by others (who`d i`d like to name on here !!) i can not recommend Solartherm enough. I had a Daikin Heat pump installed by Solartherm UK last year. I have to say during the last winter when it was very cold the house was warm and the bills were much lower than the oil I bought the year before, Even with the cold weather!! Its a good investment compared to the oil boiler I had. I left the boiler in place as i was nervous of the system but have yet to turn it on!!!! Would recommend it to anyone. read more
