I would avoid using this company. I am writing this review as I have given NWR multiple chances to come back to me on technical issues I have been experiencing and they never do. I have had no end of issues getting everything from correct invoices, installation documentation and technical support. I am so disappointed as I recommended several people their way after the initial work was done but they treat customers poorly and have questionable approaches to things. I have emails saved and a full trail of all communications sent (dates/times etc) from the very start of my dealings with NWR so my review here on this site should be no surprise at this point. read more

I am writing this review to warn potential customers against using NWR Ltd. I bought a solar storage battery from NWR Ltd in 2017. The battery cost £4,000 and it came with a 10 year Guarantee (repairs and system). In 2021, the inspection by the NWR Ltd representative revealed that the battery was not working and a month later NWR Ltd sent out an engineer to remove the faulty battery. I was told by NWR Ltd that the battery would be sent to the manufacturer in China, and it would take up to six months to sort out the warranty claim. Almost a year later (following many email and telephone exchanges), NWR Ltd claimed that they are "still chasing this". My request for a refund was met with a refusal and I was asked to pay £900 for a replacement battery instead. I had no other choice but to take NWR Ltd to the Small Claims Court. NWR Ltd failed to respond to my claim and the County Court judge issued a judgement in my favour. NWR Ltd were ordered to pay me £4566 within a month. They did not pay. I resorted to asking the court to send bailiffs to NWR Ltd. However, it turns out that it is difficult to locate Danny Welch (the company director) and NWR Ltd. Online research revealed that Danny Welch changed the NWR Ltd address from Innovation House, Discovery Park CT13 9ND Sandwich (still listed on NWR Ltd website) to 86 - 90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, but this appears to be a co-working / desk renting / mail forwarding address only. I have also found out that there are numerous complaints about this company online including an enforcement notice issued by the Information Commissioner's Office for breaking the Data Protection Act 1999 (https://ico.org.uk/media/action-weve-taken/enforcement-notices/2614175/nwr-limited-enforcementnotice.pdf). Danny Welch was a director of 6 other companies before NWR Ltd. It transpires that Danny Welch sets up companies and closes them down (presumably when things go wrong), only to reappear under a different name. I suffered a great financial loss as a result of NWR Ltd and I am deeply upset about being taken advantaged of. I have made it my mission to warn potential customers of Danny Welch not to use NWR Ltd or any other company he sets up in the future. read more

NWR - Solar Installation Near Me - Sandwich, KEN

5 Weeks ago this company fitted an i-box to our water heating system. It didn't work from day one. On calling the company an engineer came on the line and went through various scenarios of button pressing with me but to no avail. He concluded that the unit was faulty. After making several calls we were eventually given an appointment for an engineer to call two weeks later. He tried tinkering with the boxes but said that it was faulty (as we already knew) I asked if he would fit a new one and was told that he did not have one with him. After he had gone, I noticed that he had wired our booster immersion into the box that did not work and chopped the lead off of the main immersion heater. I called the company telling them that we had no means of getting hot water, they said they would contact the engineer. The company then called back to say that the engineer had cut the lead off of the main immersion heater because it was dangerous. If that was the case why did he not tell us whilst in our bungalow. He also said that we could turn on our boiler for hot water, we do not have a boiler, we are all electric. We had to call someone else out to re connect our water heater. In fact the immersion the engineer said was dangerous, only needed a new wire. They have since made two different appointments to fit a new box, both of which have been broken with nobody turning up and no explanation forthcoming. We are now five weeks down the line and £845 out of pocket. I would recommend that you do not touch this company with a barge pole. John C read more

Very quick installation to the highest standard. Had a 4kwh system with a 2.4kwh battery and has been working perfectly since installed. Installers were great and on time very polite. The office staff were great and very helpful! Would recommend to a friend. read more

I was contacted and ask if I would like my solar panels to perform up to 25% more efficiently and unfortunately said yes. The sales man was very pleasant not pushy and professional, the price quoted was good and with a 25 year warranty what could go wrong. The fitters came and fitted the new inverter and sola edge packs, all appeared to be good. After a week I hadn't received any paperwork or the logon and password for the sola edge inverter that would tell me what my panels out puts were. After several calls and leaving message I managed to speak to someone who promised all would be in the post. When it arrived the invoice list "Inverter and installation" and a warranty sheet that says 10 years. I have called and left many messages since and still heard nothing! The sola panel out put has dropped and the max output seems to be capped at 3.7Kw when I used to get a 5.7Kw max. I have asked for the logon and a detailed invoice but still nothing as yet. read more

Had my 16pv and battery installed by NWR, was very happy from first contact all the way through to installation, answered all my questions and provided me with all the information I required. The installation was a fantastic job carried out by their installers who were polite and courteous. I'm receiving great benefits already. I would certainly recommend nwr to anyone looking for renewable energy. They even provide a great aftercare service which in my opinion is very important. So all in all very happy. read more
