So that obviously isn't doing the full head that I asked for then is it. I paid and asked for a full head of highlights. I expected Lucy to do her job properly and do that for me. Her or Michelle wouldn't admit that Lucy done her job wrong and when I asked for my refund. They refused it and said I should of told them earlier. I told them as soon as I noticed my hair had been done wrong. I haven't got the time to go round telling people about their mistakes. Lucy should be doing her job right. if you've had your hair done by Lucy then please check it to make sure it's been done correctly. I've had it confirmed by about 5 other hair dressers that to fix my hair and put the blonde back in the back of my hair. It would just need the full head of highlights doing. Thats what l asked Lucy for anyway and paid her for it. Lucy should be doing her job right. it's like they are desperate for people to go there and give them their money but Lucy is too lazy to so her job properly

The Walton Hair & Beauty Studio offers a wide range of treatments for both sexes. It is not the…read morebiggest of studios but they do offer most services at affordable prices. For instance, you can have waxing done for as cheap as £5. There is also a barbers section available daily. In addition, there are speciality treatments plus other services on request and a loyalty reward scheme for regular customers. Each time I walk past here, it seems busy which is always a good sign. Generally it attracts many of the locals as it isn't in the centre of town but is on the main road. By observation: hair, face and nail services seem to be the most popular. If you're on a budget and fancy some pampering, The Walton Hair & Beauty Studio is an average choice.

This Boots store is the largest in Clayton Square, it is opposite St John's Centre and a couple of…read moreminutes on foot away from Liverpool One and Liverpool Lime Street Station, it is a large store and is a good location within the city centre. The product range is good, they have a nice range of most products you'd expect to find in a Boots, including the Bulldog Skincare range which was the main purpose of my visit. There is an Opticians and Pharmacy area as you'd expect from a large Boots store. I did find the gift-sets to be a little poor, maybe that is because people of Liverpool seem to have raided the shelves as they are currently 50% off, but the selection is much better in Manchester, many big brands which are sold in the latter didn't seem to be sold here, but they did have some cool Twinings Tea gift-sets, which aren't sold in the former, however, they did seem to be damaged, ripped and one was even missing a tea-bag (thieves?) It's a large Boots store, the selection is pretty good, I do feel they should do more to maintain the quality of products, I get it isn't the store's fault to a full extent but they should be maintaining them and not selling products which have obviously been tampered with, prices were OK/competitive in the majority of areas. I do prefer my local Manchester - Market Street store as I find the selection to be slightly better, with more facilities overall, but this still is a good store in Liverpool. 4*

This branch of Boots is excellent. It is situated in the heart of the city centre and has a huge…read morerange of, well, everything. On the ground floor you have a large pharmacy area, cosmetics concessions, perfumes, toiletries, holiday items, food, and hair products. Upstairs has baby clothes and products, a large camera and film processing section and a wide range of electronics. The different products are organised into clearly marked sections and it is easy to find everything in store. If you are a bit lost the staff are more than happy to help you. There are often offers displayed for multibuys and the products are competitively priced. When I used to work in the city centre I bought my lunch at Boots for most of the week. They have an excellent value meal deal where you can buy sandwiches, wraps, salads or sushi, chocolate or crisps and a drink for about £3.50. The food is always of a good quality.

It didn't have the luxury, special environment and feel that I had expected for the price. But my main issue is the poor quality of the service. The nail polish was badly applied, it didn't even cover my whole nail. It was applied so thick that even after over 30 minutes waiting for it to dry, it was still thick and gloopy. After walking 10 minutes home, I took off my shoes and found it totally smudged, and still so wet that I could scrape the polish off with my fingernail. Worst of all, the manicurist clearly doesn't know where the cuticle ends - they painfully cut off my living skin around my toenails, leaving them bleeding, sore and now scabbed. The salon has refused even a partial refund for the service because I didn't speak up before leaving the salon - although of course the polish smudging wasn't seen until I got home. They have offered to re-apply the polish but after having chunks of skin cut off last time, you'll understand I don't feel safe going back there. Avoid this salon like the plague, unless you enjoy paying luxury prices to have your toes looking worse than before you went in!
