They used the drill which I know pretty much all places use no biggy but, when using the drill they cut 3 of my fingers underneath my nail when filing my nail they cut me. Me and my sister went here to get a pedicure and a set. The place was very busy. I loved my pedicure, but my sister Did not enjoy hers. Her French tips were way too thin. I got French tip nails with a heart design on the index finger. The person doing my manicure made me bleed after, and it was very painful. TERRIBLE SERVICE: I called and made an appointment for 11am on Sunday 3/6/22. I get there at 10:50 (which she said they opened at 11am she had someone already in her chair I waited until 11:25 for my appointment. Then she was rushing did not clean my cuticles up at all, when I asked her (VE) to clean my cuticles up this heffa told me NO & THAT she was not going to do that! He had someone else in the chair when I returned and said $45. I asked why it wasn't what the window said and he just started mumbling off words like coffin shape. I went to the bank prior till because I saw the cash only sign. All I had on me was $47 so that was awkward standing there while another lady was getting her nails done now. Went in to just get white tips the girl that was going my nails put the gel all over my skin then got a huge chunk stuck to my finger and without paying attention went to clip it and almost cut the tip of my finger off!!!! Absolutely beside myself. Took my little sister to get a manicure, tonight is her first formal dance! In all hopes it would make her feel how every teenage girl should feel; happy, beautiful, pampered. It was a nightmare!! I noticed the man seemed distressed about 20mins into her manicure. He was holding his breath, then kind of rushing like he was in pain or something. I almost asked him if he was ok but then he seemed fine after a few minutes. Not long after that ran through my mind, my little sister looks at me in PAIN! She holds up her hand and almost every finger on her hand is BLEEDING. He cut her cuticles way too short & took a chunk out of the side of her index finger! I asked her if her other hand was like that and she said yes! Not once did this man apologize or care that she was in pain. He was already painting her first hand or I would have just took her and left!! I didn't want her to have to go to the dance with one hand painted & definitely didn't want to use nail polish remover and make it sting more than it already was. So I let the man finish, while making sure everyone in there knew my sister was bleeding from his carelessness, respectfully of course. At that point I was giving the man the benefit of doubt to make things right! Which he did not. A few of the other female workers came and helped him stop the blood, one apologized. He did not. He cleaned up her hand from the slop of a paint job he did then sat her at the dryer. After they were dry he said she's all done, $10! I am beside myself that not only did he cause her pain, he rob her of everything she was suppose to feel today! He did NOT even try to make it right, apologize, or tell her to not worry about paying the $10! This business has went down the drain since the new owners have taken over! Clean environment, they're good at threading/waxing eye brows. Depending who you get to do your nails will determine how good they turn out. The first time i went with my sister and got a full set of gel white tips, they were beautiful, when i went to get them refilled.. and they look HORRIBLE. They literally grind half of the white tip off leaving barely any left and i can see where my nails before were grown out underneath. I can see my nail underneath where the nail is lifting and they rushed me right out of there. Its been 3 days and they look absolutely terrible. They are already chipping on the edges. I will NEVER go there again. I have never been somewhere where they buzz down half of my white tip. If i were to go again theyre would be no white tip left. Sapa is amazing and very talented. All other nail techs are just ok. The weekends are swamped from open to about 4pm. You can make an appointment on weekdays with a specific nail tech. They do eyelashes, eyebrows, and nails and toes. The place needs good cleaning and better ventilation, but it's a pretty good nail shop. If you are particular about your nails, book an appointment with Sapa if you can. You won't regret it. read more
