The really average chicken and avo nigiri I'd chosen was $5.50/plate, and the avo was beginning to brown. My boyfriend's tempura prawn was either $5.50 or $5.80, and he said it seemed a bit stale/dry. I wanted to like it - we probably wouldn't have actually cared if the sushi quality warranted the price. What was served wouldn't have been more than three stars even if it was $3.50/plate like normal.

The quality and variety is fantastic and they are made to order in the open kitchen at the front of the restaurant. We were a little disappointed with the agedashi tofu - the broth was way too sweet. The prices are very reasonable and BYO is a plus. Make sure you book if you're coming on a Friday or Saturday night.
