They also have hip hop fitness Tuesday before the beginner class. Check the site or call for schedule. They also have a competitive dance team for kids to teenagers. They are really good and win awards all the time. You can drop in or get a class card. Students pay $5 with a student ID. I believe drop in is $10. They also have guest choreographers or workshops every now and then, usually on Saturdays. Instructors are personable and will challenge you. What sets this gym apart from other gyms I have been exposed to is the consistent positive and empowering culture. This staff really is passionate about helping kids grow and be well rounded people. TJ is one of the most knowledgeable instructors I've ever met. I've been to various studios throughout the United States, but I was never consistent enough with studio training. Now that I am vaccinated I want to be more consistent with my training and get a strong technical foundation. I can tell from just one class with TJ, the difference in my understanding of pole and just how much better my body awareness was. Freestyle Fitness is the real deal and you really can't beat the professionalism, knowledge, and overall friendly atmosphere.

Your kid is not going to come out of this dance studio a professional, so always bear in mind you get what you pay for. The price of this studio is very reasonable and because we do not have professional aspirations we have been going regularly. The instructor of the class has not been consistent. My kid is fine with that and has bonded with her class. The staff are friendly and they really seem to like kids. They do appear to have a competitive program as there are trophies everywhere but the group of kids that appears to be the competitive team seem to spend half of the time hanging out and half of the time actually practicing. The older kids seem to have little adult supervision and so I have witnessed a lot of dance drama but in spite of that the group does seem close. Would I recommend this studio? Yes with reservations, will I send my daughter back next year? Maybe.
