Shala is the founder and works in an office right next door. Tiffany, Ryan, Michael, and Christy are the wonderful co-workers that fill the desks in this petite space. They are all friendly, ambitious, and courteous young professionals that respect the fact that you are there to work, but also the fact that you are there for good company. In March Creative Colony moves to the World Building in Silver Spring where they will host a larger space for professionals like myself. Custom phone booths are being built for private phone calls. Office space will be rented at different levels based on need. Conference space will be available as well. All too nurture young creative collaboration. I can't wait to see the new space and continue to utilize this niche service that the young professionals are finding more and more useful.

There was constant noise from people chatting and coming and going w/ the lobby desk and elevators next door. You're better off at Panera Bread across the street with faster wi-fi. The Internet guest log-in lagged so slowly that I thought it was broken. After it got going, it got faster. There aren't proper height desks in the room either. They're very low to the ground and you have to hunch at your laptop to type. There's also construction next to the building that makes it hard to navigate to and through the building. (Some of the construction was also in the lobby.) I honestly wasn't sure if it was still open in Covid times. Overall, bad working experience. The only good thing was being around new people, but it made me concerned when two of them chatted about recovering from being sick. Uh, ok, let me not touch anything either.

There appeared to be a separate room apart from the main area that could be used a temp office or just a separate space for setting up. Overall, the space is well designed and allows for a lot of flexibility in terms of set up. The parking in the front of the building appears to be for zone 1 Hyattsville residents only during the week, however, there was a side street or two that was not restricted. The space seems like a good flexible use space overall and I would consider using it for an intimate event myself.
