This was my first time getting my taxes by accountant. In the past 20 years I was doing myself. Softron Tax, and specifically Amita, did excellent work doing my personal taxes, corporation taxes and quarterly HST returns. She is patient, understanding and extremely knowledgeable about the accounting. Considering the amount of time and effort she invested in getting my stuff done, I would say they very reasonable charge for their services. Can you get your taxes done elsewhere for cheaper? Yes you can! The cheapest is to learn how to do it yourself providing you have time and interest to do so. I am very busy and I had to put my knowledge aside and hire Amita to do it on my behalf. She exceeded my expectations, I got my numbers very well explained and the entire process and experience was rather pleasant. I highly recommend using Softron's accounting services and Amita is a true expert in her job. Both thumbs up: keep up with amazing job! This review applies to Softron's location in Mississauga (Hurontario/Dundas). read more

Dundas St & Hurontario St location: Had my taxes done earlier this year with Ms. Amita K. which was excellent, she addressed all my concerns regarding my taxes in a courteous, patient and respectful manner. Recently I needed to contact Softron again for a personal matter which required my tax information over the years. I asked for Amita and she came on the phone and got right down to business. She listened to all I needed, her responses were very professional, informative and polite. She guided me through some CRA processes which was very helpful and helped me mitigate a better outcome. I am very pleased with the level of customer service I received from Amita, and will definitely continue to do my taxes with her at Softron. read more

This review is long overdue. I have been going to the Hwy 10 location of Softron Tax in Mississauga for years and I always see Pam to do my taxes. She has always been very helpful and gives great advice on how I can reduce my taxes. She also assisted me in the past when CRA was trying to charge me thousands for claiming my daughter when I have been a single mom for many years. She got me out of that mess. I highly recommend seeing Pam. I trust that she always puts my best interests first and I also take my daughters to have their taxes done here as well. read more

Pam is the absolute best! I am not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to taxes and last year I broke up with my partner who had helped me with my taxes for 7 years. Pam scooped me up and made it easier for me to do what was needed. She is knowledgeable, non-judgmental and totally trustworthy. Thank you to Pam and to my colleague who recommended her. I live in downtown Toronto and it's actually worth the drive to Mississauga! read more

Talk about an amazing experience!!! Pam not only helped me get an instant refund for my most recent year, but she looked back at past refunds and noticed TWO years that large amounts were left out of previous returns. She was incredibly friendly and made this whole experience stress free. I'm not only going to come back myself, but I plan on going out of my way to recommend this location (Pam specifically) to my friends and family! read more

Softron Bramalea City Center forgot to submit our taxes but they charged us $240 which they refuse to return. Now we are facing penalties from the government. Anisha, the manager would not even return calls or emails. Anna was rude and would not let me speak when I called. Softron is the most incompetent tax company, I would never trust my taxes to tour company again and I will make sure everyone knows about my family experience. read more

I'm referring everyone to Softrontax-Hurontario for your tax filing. They know what they're doing, and can get you maximum returns. Ask for Pam when you do go in, and you won't regret it. I've used them for the past 8 years or so, and even though I don't live in Toronto anymore, I still work with Pam on my personal tax filings. I've yet to see any other tax services that work as nicely as Softrontax-Hurontario. read more
