After asking the DJ several times to run through the ceremony songs and times with me prior to starting, he answered every time with "I have the Spotify I have the list" to no surprises he completely messed up the brides entrance and then the first dance song which we specifically asked him to cut to a certain part and he played it entirely. To add on to our experience multiple songs on our "must play list" were never played and each time we approached the DJ the response was "we still have 3 hours" it wasn't until the last hour of our party that the DJ decided to tell us he did not have wifi ... this is something we could have easily fixed also something we offered before the beginning of the party. All the DJ seemed to know to say to our guests, bride and groom when they had a request was "I have a contract you signed" a contract that also included specific instructions from the bride and groom of the songs that were essential to be played and he didn't seem to care about that then. Not to mention that at one point he completely stopped the music when switching songs.... the party ended with one of our guests connecting their phones .. quite ridiculous considering the amount of money they charge.

He also took the time to find some really cool remixes we would enjoy. A few days before he called me to go over the timeline and my song choices. The system they built on LiquidDJs.com made it really easy to input my choices and change them around. Also, I really appreciated his input on making the sound system work at my venue. The acoustics at my wedding venue is really bad due to the shape of the room. Shannon explained this to me and discussed his plan on how to make it sound great by switching to different speakers at different times (dinner-time / post dinner dance time). The result: AWESOME! We were really impressed with how everything sounded... so clear! Bonus: We had a Super Mario Groom's cake and Shannon at the very last minute found a fun little sound byte to play when we cut it.
