The parking before she moved was terrible, but staff were understanding. One time they forgot to bring his chart back once we checked in and paid our co-payment. Through it all, Dr. Tsu has been kind and caring. Now that she has moved offices, there is plenty of parking and relatively easier to get to. Gavin will be 15 this September - from vaccinations to sports clearance... staff will help fax over documentation whenever needed to. Thank you for taking such great care of Gavin.

I was unfortunately met with the rudest front desk worker. Me - "Hi, I'm interested in becoming a new patient for Dr. Tsu" and I was met with a ".... you're gonna have to give me more information than that. Is he a newborn or toddler or what, there're many different kinds of patients", "is your son circumcised? oh well, it doesn't matter, you can tell us later" "I said 1:30!!!" This is for a call to schedule an appointment. Imagine calling for anything else. This really isn't what we wanted to deal with along with our happiest moment and I don't want you to have that either. I was in the maternity hospital and the nurse hearing this said we should find another pediatrician because it's very serious to have newborns looked at. I called another place and it was night and day. This new place actually congratulated us on the baby first thing, collected my info and said they can have us come in the next day!

When we first arrive at the practice, Silicon Valley Pediatrics, we were warmly greeted by the staff there and I had a chance to look around to see how clean everything was, even the toys in the lobby. That was impressive to my wife and I. Dr. V was very informative and gave us very concise information to help alleve our concerns about vaccines and the whole well-baby check procedure. Dr. V spent her whole time with us and we were duly impressed by her forwardness and approachability. We also liked how the practice was run and shared by the other pediatricians in the office. We had also interviewed another Dr. last week and he was great too, however the overall package of Dr. V and Silicon Valley Pediatrics operations won us over. We'll let you know more after the baby comes and we begin to use the services.

You can tell she's not a doctor for the money but because she loves helping kids. When my 6 year old was an infant he was diagnosed anemic. Dr. Aminova was off that day but because she cared so much and wanted to make sure he was okay, she came in anyhow to make sure he was going to be ok. If that's not love I don't know what is. She has been caring for my kids since they were infants and if she wasn't such a great doctor I would've found another doctor already because the office staff sucks! It's out of her control who works the front desk but to see her makes all the BS worth it. I don't know why she felt the need to touch like that! And this has happened before, she freaks when I try to explain to my daughter. Another bad habit she has is failing to give medication for my kids. I understand there are reasons and age requirements with medication but she has never prescribed anything in 4 years, for my daughter, she basically said let her suffer and deal with it!! Yea cause she not you f@cken kid right..are you the one seeing her gag all night and cry cause of pain in her throat, as well as other places or watch her be deprived of sleep and not eat..NOOOO!!!!! You heartless jerk!! I'm done with aminova and on to a great doctor that knows what she's doing! I finally found a doctor that acknowledges my child's pain and actually feels for us ; and prescribed my daughters age 2 & 4 some antibiotics for some peace and relief and it's made a huge difference!! Dr. Varamini has been our children's pediatrician for several years and supported our family…read morethrough many situations in health; from illnesses to physical injuries. She has earned my trust and confidence in her as we've worked together caring for my three children. Her demeanor has created a feeling of partnering with a doctor who cares for my children as if they are her own. She continued to advocate and give valuable options when we hit a wall with a specialist. She takes the time to make sure we understand the information and uses visuals when necessary. She or her staff always return emails and calls and have Saturday appointments. The staff at the front desk is efficient and friendly both on the phone and in person. Norma is friendly and somehow can make shots seem like they hardly even happened! She's a gem with her positive personality and eagerness to help. My children love seeing her too! Dr. Varamini is a very compassionate doctor who actively listens without judgment, shows empathy and sets a comfortable and safe space for sensitive issues, gives validation and shares her knowledge and experience which allows my children feel comfortable with her. We started seeing her after a year of misdiagnosis and many procedures with no progress at Kaiser. Within a few visits she had us on the right path and my daughter was finally receiving the correct treatment. This was due to her keen listening combined with her experience to not keep the cookie cutter service, step outside the box and find healing for my child; and it worked. Our daughter has a few specialists on her team of care. Dr. Varamini works right along side in making sure us parents understand lab results and treatment options provided by the other doctors. She goes above and beyond to be a part of the team and not just refer us and walk away. It is evident to us that she truly cares for her patients and the outcome of their care. Over the years she has helped our family navigate several health issues and as a parent I've always felt respected. She encourages questions and provides such gentle, yet confident guidance in the decisions we make. Her preventive care appointments are great too; my children leave those feeling empowered to set healthy goals and celebrated for their progress. I've always felt that the measure of a great doctor is when things are complicated and they are put to the test. Dr. Varamini has passed that test with flying colors! We have switched insurance companies to have her and each year make sure we are with the correct plan (not that her office changes but we've had insurances change) and drive a distance to see her because we know the level of care she provides is tough to find. Dr. Varamini has consistently demonstrated her knowledge, compassion, strong communication and advocacy for our three children over many years. We know we are very fortunate to have found her.

But, the best part is having Dr. Pabari as a pediatrician. She cares so much for my daughter, and all of her patients, I'm sure. She's totally holistic and takes care of the whole family, giving us information in a way both my husband and I understand (despite very different ways of learning) and truly takes her time with my daughter, who is actually excited to go to the doctor when it's check-up time. We're huge fans of Dr. Aurora as well-- she's also tremendously attuned to my kiddo, very thorough, and extremely warm and thoughtful. The follow-up calls from the doctors to check-in as well as the after-hours service is so reassuring. At Luke's 1-year check up, Dr Li expressed concerns on his development, and referred us to a specialist, who is also great and was able to get the help Luke needed. As we were struggling to cope with Luke's condition, she gave us a 30-min phone call and offered words of comfort, which was much needed. At the 2-week checkup of Neo, she noticed his hands and feet were cold, and was very concerned. She offered us heating pads in the office to heat him up, asked us to monitor his temperature back home, and asked us to report his status regularly. When we found that Neo's temperature was not coming up, Dr Li instructed us to take him to the ER, called the doctor on-duty at the ER upfront. That was 9 in the night! After Neo was admitted into the hospital, she ask about his condition at 11 in the night. She followed up with the doctor and us until Neo was found to be fine and discharged from the hospital. The similar level of care were shown when Luke had a stomach flu. She was able to see him the same day and followed up with us on an hourly basis, until the concern of dehydration was relieved. My wife and I feel very lucky to find Dr Li and would highly recommend her.
