He asked, multiple times, if I was okay with the amount of hair that he was cutting off. I appreciated that because you can tell that, based on experience, the amount of hair I was cutting off probably led to a lot of regret later on. Not me though, I was happy with my haircut, and he also offered to do bang trims in between appointments. The interior is really cute, it is a mixture of history, modern, and eclectic design. There's also a giant needle plant growing by the window, and Ron said that it has been there for decades. You can't miss it when you're walking by, it's probably what catches people's attention first.

They won't even admit with the mistakes they made. Don't go here, spend a little bit extra money and actually go to professionals. If you want your money back, they fight with you. They won't give you their tip back because they believe they deserve it. The shop is a scam and unfortunately, I got the blunt end of that. I went in for a balayage which I showed to Ron, and he told me he could do that after he asked another hairstylist four times what to do. I should've known and seen all the red flags. Ron brags about his 35+ years of experience, but do these pictures look like that to you? All I'm going to say is don't go here. They have no integrity, they let you leave their shop looking a hot mess and then they lie about the results. Then they fight with you about what's the reality. Don't go here.

It's small and appointments are highly recommended, however, they do accept walk-ins. I received a basic pedicure completed by Krys for $45. This was far from a basic pedicure though, this was a total spa experience. Krys removed all my dead skin, provided a relaxing foot massage and made sure my nails looked perfect. She also very kind. In addition to pedicures they provide nail and hair services. Check them out today. So happy I found my new nail salon close to home.

Can't go back because i live in Houston but they are hanging literally by the tips of my real finger nails breaking my nails off and skin if I try to remove them. my cuticles were not cut or pushed back at all. I honestly should have know better when I realized no one in the shop had their natural hair showing. The damage isn't extreme but its disheartening after I trusted a salon. They also didn't give me anything special for my hydration treatment, my hair feels the same as before aside from the trim. If you don't care about your curls go right ahead and book, but if you're a curly girl, think twice. I came in for a Silk press with hydration treatment and trim. This was my first visit and I was dealing with major split ends over the past few months and know I needed a proper trim as I have been growing out a permed, pixie for about two years. Yoycelyn did the majority of my service and she was amazing!!! As a tender headed - curly girl I appreciated that she took her time sectioning, detangling, and answering my questions including how long she would leave me at the dryer. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was issues with time management. I had to wait 30 minutes to get started (I had an appointment not a walk in) with a different stylish who, after shampooing, did not section my hair when applying the hydration treatment, and, then, I was left under the dryer for 40+ minutes until I pushed the hood up on my own accord. After that, Yoycelyn took over and was a gem. However, these delays end up turning a 1hr 15 minute appointment into 3 hours. I will update my review depending on how my hair reverts. The atmosphere is hostile . The ladies are arguing over clients . The braiders that aren't working come and distract the other braiders with gossip , stopping them showing pictures videos on phones just very unprofessional . I kid you not the lady doing my hair took 2 hours just on the back of my hair not because she was moving slow , because she took 4 breaks walked outside several times was on her phone and my braids reflected that . If you value your time and money don't go here . You've been warned . There is a number to contact to complain no one ever answers it's a google voice number again very unprofessional . They only take cash because they ALL know once a person gets home and inspects those braids no bank will have a problem with your dispute with photos of their work . The cash only should have been the biggest red flag . Those people play in your head . I wish there was an option for -0 . The internet will do what it's supposed to do and put this information out .
