I got what I needed but it's very crowded and small spaces for seating. Make sure you bring something to do. Could be a little cleaner

Halls Chophouse absolutely delivered a fantastic night out…read more We started with the Halls Chop Salad and it was incredible--both the flavors and the presentation were spot on. You can tell they really pay attention to the details. For dinner, we ordered the 8 oz filet and the mushroom risotto. The filet was cooked perfectly (medium rare just as we requested) and was everything you want in a great steak. The mushroom risotto was delicious and full of flavor, but for me (wife), it was just a bit too salty. My husband agreed. Next time, I would definitely ask for less salt because the dish itself was excellent otherwise. We skipped dessert, but honestly didn't feel like we were missing anything after such a great meal. The live music was amazing and really elevated the entire experience. The crowd and vibe were just as good--some people dressed to the nines, while others were in shorts, flip flops, and t-shirts with ball caps. It was a fun mix and made the whole place feel welcoming and energetic. Overall, an awesome experience and a spot we'd absolutely come back to.

The owner came in and introduced himself as we were sitting at the bar and saw him throughout the evening at many tables. Super nice touch. The menu, the appetizers, drinks and food were all well described, presented and delicious. My son started with the Espresso Martini and it was delicious (even though there were no beans on top) Heard about the She Crab Soup and, ya, it was delicious! Let's talk bread...I bake and sell in California and, ya, their bread is delicious! And being from California and knowing Napa wine, we went with a ZD and was a fantastic addition to our night! Talk about a good steak, it's here! I've had many from many places and so glad I went with the dry aged Kansas City Bone in Strip. This place knows its meat. You heard it here, definitely must go and I'll be back for sure next visit!

My husband and I are big fans of early dinner lol. When we got there before 5pm it was pretty empty so we got sat right away. The main reason we tried this place is because I have a recently discovered that I have a soybean oil allergy and this restaurant is seed free. When we got sat, they brought over bread right away which was really delicious. I got a glass of Pinot grigio for a drink, and by the way the wine pour is very generous. We ordered mozzerella sticks for an app, for an entree I got the rigatoni with vodka sauce (the none spicy version make sure to ask for that if you don't like spicy things) with burrata. I also asked for crispy breaded chicken on top which wasn't on the menu but they added it no problem. My husband got the carbonara. The mozzerella sticks were decent maybe a 3/5...I wish they had a bit more salt. The batter tasted kind of bland. But it was crispy and cheesy. The rigatoni was amazing though, the pasta was cooked perfect not too al dente. The burata made everything creamy, they put a large piece of crispy chicken on it as well which was delicious. I would definitely order it again. My husband loved his carbonara. We are as much as we could and still had left overs which we ate the next day. Side note: for parking don't bother trying to find street parking, just use the parking garage near by. It's an easy walk and cheap. Also either come early or make a reservation because there was a line of people waiting when we left and it filled up quickly after 5pm.

Feels like family owned and truly local that makes you think you found a good spot. Chicken parm was good, little tough on the meat but sauce was great. Marbled & Fin - Hot Seafood Tower...it was beyond amazing!

Oh. My. Goodness…read more Marbled and Fin has secured a spot as one of my top CHS restaurants! A friend and I decided to treat ourselves to a girls dinner since she's out of state. Reservations were at 515 and we arrived about a half hour early. The hostess was an absolute doll. So sweet, personable, and helpful. She let us know they would seat us closer to our designated time but to help ourselves to a seat at the bar. Started with delicious cocktails with fun innuendos. Very strong. Lovely. The hostess came back later and escorted us to our seats - and the fun dinner service began. You receive a complimentary welcome cocktail table side - tonight was a peach gimlet. No notes! We decided to try a little of everything (thank you to our amazing waiter- he let us know serving sizes and suggesting splitting some appetizers). We had the scallops, Caesar and milk bread. I don't think there was a single morsel left on those plates. For dinner we had the wet aged ribeye with the bone marrow & salmon. Sides: steak fries, lobster Mac and cheese, creamed spinach, and asparagus. The steak fries were such a stand out. Wow. never would have thought but incredible! Dessert had to be the affogato & crème brulee. Everything was Devine. The restaurant is bright and airy and incredibly beautiful. We sat at the bar booths and there was a little blonde girl who was so on top of refilling our water that it became comical. She was such a doll! Cannot say enough about her Incredible restaurant- impeccable service. Needs to be on any CHS list!

The atmosphere is calm with plenty windows for natural sunlight. Oysters were 10/10, I need to go back for more. Prime steak was juicy and flavorful, recommended at medium temperature due to the lean cut of meat. I'm a ribeye type of girl, but I was very satisfied with the prime steak. They offer a table side roasted garlic butter and the steak comes with an Au poivre that was super tasty. Eggs were perfectly cooked the way I requested. Hash brown is a patty, similar to the golden arch restaurant (haha), but less greasy and tastes like real potatoes. Oysters on the half shell were 10/10! They were from NC, I have to go back for these. Espresso martini is served in an unusually tall martini glass and tastes very delicious.

It sets the tone immediately, and the festive energy carries straight through the meal. We kicked things off with Bloody Marys and a Morning Fog -- simple, classic, and done right. For starters, we shared the Hula Hoisin Wings. They were definitely on the heavier side with the hoisin, but still absolutely delicious. The Mistletoe Mango Tuna Poke Tacos were a standout. They come as a small plate with three appetizer-sized tacos, and every bite was bright, fresh, and beautifully balanced. The Buddy the Elf Burger offers a choice of a single or double patty; ours was cooked perfectly. The smoky bacon really brought everything together and gave it that extra "wow" factor. We rounded things out with the O Come, All Ye Fried Rice with Hanger Steak, which was another winner -- perfectly cooked, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. As if the meal wasn't great enough on its own, we happened to be there while Emily Curtis was performing. She's truly incredible and added such a fun, memorable vibe to the day. I'd be remiss not to mention Kevin our server. Go see him. He was great. The whole team works great together. Don't let the bar-like atmosphere fool you -- Prohibition is far from your typical bar food or bar scene. There's a great space in the back, and the elevated menu makes it absolutely worth the visit. A festive, flavorful, all-around fantastic experience.

I love that finer dining areas exist beyond the downtown peninsula. With that being said, the staff did their best to provide excellent service and made sure our water cups were full and checked in on us. It's a good spot to celebrate engagements, anniversaries, birthdays, milestones..The ambiance feels like a study room library with Italian regalia. I enjoyed my aperol spritz and tried sips of my fiancés island drink, more frothy based. For the appetizer we tried the daily bread. The butter and herb center tied the appetizer together but the bread could be left in the oven to bake a little longer, felt raw and chewy. Our main dish my fiancé got the special of the day - a giant pork chop with dots of homemade gnocchi. Our side dish to share was the charred cabbage with fondue in between the leaves. For my main dish, I tried the linguini with local clams to which had about 6 in there. All their pasta is made in-house and our server was able to explain each one. I would say the one area that needs improvement is to scale back on the salt..our dishes were incredibly salty. It's hard because the pasta was cooked perfectly, but something in the sauce made it difficult to fully enjoy..felt like my mouth was pickling and kept downing cups of water to help with the saltiness. Overall give Cane Pazzo a try for yourself! They have a unique menu that's waiting for you to give it a chance and a crew that's eager to please.

I had a barrel aged cocktail, a gin sour, and an espresso martini and their cocktails were fantastic. Well-balanced and silky. Steak tartare is a death row meal for me, and theirs did not disappoint. It's topped with the cutest little thin potato chips and the tartare itself had thinly sliced pickles and whole ground mustard mixed in. With the shaved egg white and diced steak, it was divine-- a little smoky, and full of flavor. I sat at the chefs counter, which was so fun. I loved watching the chefs hard at work, in their flow state, and they were able to banter some with those at the counter. There's an open fire right there, so if you're temperamental to heat/smoke, it's not the best spot for you. I enjoyed it immensely, watching them season and cook my pork chop right in front of me. The pork chop was truly incredible, thick double cut chop, perfect sear with a slightly pink center. Insane. Incredible. The flavors worked well together with a slightly sweet, mildly spicy sauce, bok choy and trumpet mushrooms. My server (I forget his name!) was knowledgeable and so kind. We were seated at 5pm at a high top next to the bar. Nothing like listening to the bartender shake drinks all evening. If you make a reservation, stick with the patio or just resign yourself to a night out at a pub. Our waiter was MIA but another staff member tried to get us settled. There doesn't seem to be an adult in charge of things so service is akin to a Friday's, friendly but inexperienced and unpolished. The food is really hit or miss. The tartare was inedible. I thought I misread the description when it came with mayo and cheese. The smoked egg and mustard never made it to the plate so what I got was meat, mayo and cheese. (Yes, you read that right.) My husband's foie was good, so we shared that. After the mayo and cheese, I dreaded my salmon but it was cooked perfectly. A pleasant surprise. The bed it came on was meh but the fish was perfect. Unfortunately, my husband's Bronzino was charred.
