You might be disappointed to discover that the World's Largest Sweet Tea was created and consumed several years back in 2016.  But ask yourself this:  Which of our deeds define us--those of the past, or those of the present?  At what point do our accomplishments fade away?  If the World's Largest Sweet Tea is no more, does that make it any less of an achievement?  If it were still around today, now many years stale and unable to be consumed, would it even be worth anything?  What good is the tea if no one can drink it?  Its most valuable moments are the ones that lead to it no longer being the World's Largest Sweet Tea. Just because you aren't the greatest version of yourself today, doesn't mean you weren't yesterday, or won't be tomorrow.  Some days you might be the World's Largest Sweet Tea, and some days you're just an empty tank.  You don't have to be the greatest every day--and that doesn't make you any less accomplished. The World's Largest Sweet Tea made a lot of people happy for one day several years ago in Summerville, South Carolina.  It had its day in infamy.  And maybe one day it'll have another.

What more can I say? It's the Guinness Book of World Records largest sweet tea. Have never stopped at the largest ball of twine but had to stop here.

The sweet tea is turning green.

Would be SO much better if they offered sweet tea. Just a statue of sweet tea, made me want to get sweet tea but no where near offered.

The burratta was incredible and bruschetta porchetta was a perfect choice for someone willing to try something different. Walking in we were mesmerized by the huge gorgeous welcome tree outside followed by a very delightful hostess. Definitely recommend putting your party size online on the waitlist prior to arriving. Andrew was our waiter and he was phenomenal. Very attentive and recommended plates he'd think we would like. The chicken parm was amazing and the marinara sauce was something a nonna would make. Classic, authentic, Italian. We ended the night with espresso martinis, crème brulé and the classic tiramisu. As someone who dines in NY and NJ often, this was a taste from home and we will definitely be visiting again in the future.

The blond bartender always seems to provide service without a smile or nicety, which after multiple visits, you realize she is an unwelcoming person. They were able to seat us right away without a reservation. We then waited over 1 hour for the food to arrive. Our server was very nice about it, but there was never an explanation or gesture for the wait. I know this is a family owned business and that not all days are perfect.

The food is excellent, and the pricing is moderate. The Corner House looks smallish, but they've got another dining room and lots of outdoor seating - both covered and open. The outdoor space is delightfully casual, cleanly decorated with flowers and overhead string lights making it festive and inviting. I'll come back at night to have a beer and check it out. We came for a late lunch, and were pleasantly surprised at the menu choices. The chef has taken care to offer something for all appetites, with a unique twist that bumps The Corner up a notch. I had their Gun Slinger burger, a smash burger topped with smoked brisket, BBQ sauce, pickles and ghost pepper cheese. It was well crafted and sumptuous, and completely unique. The service was excellent; our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. We sat in the bar area at a low table, and because of the hour it wasn't crowded. There was a steady stream of couples and singles that came and went during our very leisurely meal. With windows all around, beautiful views, and an upscale casual decor, we were in no hurry to leave. I've already made reservations for 4 as I can't wait to bring my friends here at night. I'm so glad I found this gem. Do yourself a favor and try it out! (Accessibility is excellent and the staff was very accommodating to me in my wheelchair. )

Everything was great. Except one dish. The frutti di mare, it was cold all the way to the middle. Like it had been waiting for all the other food to finish. Which is understandable. But it took away any of the spotlight the pasta dish could have had.

The waitstaff were very friendly and attentive. Ambience is nice with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a big wraparound bar, and an outside bar too. Little details like the water goblets on the table add a classy feel. Parking was tough--we had to park down the street because it was so crowded--but it was worth it. The rest of the menu looked tempting, everything is à la carte, and prices felt appropriate for a nice evening out. The food tasted very authentic Italian. We'll definitely be back!
