    Nachos!

Food is always top shelf. Drinks are great. Servers very friendly. But if you want to enjoy your dinner free from screaming, unsupervised, and never-before-disciplined children, do not come here. Families use the outdoor seating as a playground with little supervision. How sad for management that their clientele are all drinking the gentle parenting Kool aid. Kids running and screaming in and out of the door, throwing balls across your table and ruining your meal! We spent the last 35 minutes listening and watching kids scream at top volume, leaping from trashcans, playing tag around the benches, and witnessed one brother punching another in his gonads while his parents just idly looked on. Sorry, Soccer Taco.

We eat here often. The food is always delicious and the service is excellent as well. The restaurant is always very clean and the staff are very friendly. I would recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for good Mexican cuisine.

Have always had great service here whether it's busy or not. The fish or shrimp tacos are one of my favorites but can never go wrong with most items on the menu. The best about this location is it's more of a laid back casual atmosphere to enjoy the food and hang out. Very nice outdoor area to eat and Casual Pint across from them has their people outside as well. Dogs welcome to the area and great place to people watch. But don't forget, it's the food that brings us back.

My group sat on the patio for lunch and had fast, friendly service and good food. My mole enchiladas were awesome.

Fun atmosphere. Definitely a good spot for some sports and chips and salsa. Great portion size and pretty good pricing. House margaritas hit the spot. Your classic neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Will be back for the Margs and tacos.

This was my first time at this location, it has a nice patio area with plenty of parking. Something to note is they do not take reservations and they will not seat you until majority of your party arrives. I ordered the chicken and chorizo street tacos. The chicken was a bit bland, but the chorizo was really good. The street tacos come pretty stuffed with a side container of onion and cilantro, limes, and a side of homemade habanero salsa. If you don't read the menu carefully, you'll miss that tidbit of information on the salsa. It is pretty spicy, so I recommend not dousing your tacos in it first until you try a little bit to make sure you like that level of heat. The first basket of chips and salsa are complementary, this and the two street tacos was about $8 which I felt was pretty good for what I got.

I eat here a lot. This time was not as good as the others. The service was slow and I think they actually forgot about us. The server gave us queso and chips to go which makes me think she realized there was a huge disconnect. I usually go to the location in market square with no issues. This location was a little different but maybe because it was after a big hike UT football game. Either way, the amount a patrons was so small more attention should have been given. The food is usually amazing. This time it was just okay. Again it could have been a one off so I'm still giving them 4 stars.

La Esperanza - Not a great photo, but I thought of it after I started. Ceviche tostada, a couple of tacos.

First, I thought I had reviewed them already-- so if I do two, that's why…read more I'm giving this 5 stars relating it to other SIMILAR places-- that is, Mexican restaurants within a grocery store--- i.e. more limited menu (although their's is pretty broad), not full bar-service (but they have beer), and not fancy. For what it is-- it is really scrumptious. I had a few tacos, a ceviche tostada and a beer. BIG lunch-- I took one taco home. All the items were really chock-ful of meat. The carnitas on that taco was way too much to be able to pick up the taco with it all inside. They had a good mix of onions and cilantro on them, although I'd have preferred to add my own (I LOVE cilantro). I wish it was nearer; I'd go back often.

The salsa and chips--- First bite tasted like tomato paste to me, very tangy and had a kick of spice. Chips were warm. No Guacamole!!!! What Mexican place has no guac? Chimichanga de pollo-- Shredded chicken with some onions, peppers and covered in cheese sauce. Fajitas mixta-- Steak was a little tough and chicken was very thin slices. Lacked some spices. More onions, green peppers and tomatoes than meat. It wasn't bad, but for our taste we have had better. The whole meal lacked spices. Would we recommend? Yes, give it a try, you might like it. Salsa is good but it's too tomato pastey for us.
